Provide support to play media files in series when selected
When multiple media(Audio as well as video) files are selected they could be played serially using built in players or through other applications.
And also add next or previous buttons to play next or previous media.

A feature to copy directory's path
Hi!
Can you add a feature which copies a directory's path to clipboard? I dreamed it before 2.0.
It is simple - to copy a path you just need to tap on path.41 votesIt’s now available under properties screen.

Toolbar flexible (both Bottom or Top)
I have come up with a new idea for the editing tools of the SE 2.0 toolbar and how it can be expanded and newly displayed.
Personally I prefer accessing my tools Copy/Cut/Delete etc from the Top of the screen which is how SE 2.0alpha currently does it, for me it's clearer to use and easier for single-handed operation when holding my phone with one hand.
I certainly do think that 'Rename' and 'Share' should be on the accessible tools for quicker instant use instead of having to open an overflow menu for those.
So in total the new proposed…

Unmount a USB device (safely remove)
Ability to Unmount a USB device.
This is already suppoted in the Android system settings under "storage"
I am unsure if this feature may require a Root support.
However it would be fantastic to be able safely remove a USB device just by long-pressing in the desired usb within the left-swipe menu

NFC File Transfer
Activate NFC and bring two supported devices together to send any file without fumbling with Bluetooth.
52 votesThis feature will be available in upcoming beta release. Please note that it will no longer work in a way it worked in the old SE. Now you need to choose share option, and then NFC.

I’m glad to announce that the OTG plugin is finished. It supports FAT32 and exFAT partitions in read/write mode. NTFS is also supported, but only in read mode. Maybe write support will be added in the future. As of now, this is all I could manage to implement.

Batch Rename support
Support for a basic 'Batch Rename' feature accessible from the same 'rename' item upon multi-select would be a great addition to SE 2.0
QuickPic features this and QuickPic's Batch Rename is so simple with it's use of customizable naming template codes.
I thought at first that Solid Explorer should have a same look renamer as the one that QuickPic has but now I am thinking of something a little more dedicated....
...Ok, how about Solid Explorer's 'Batch Rename' initiating in a separate window, just like how the Bookmarks Manager initiates in a separate SE window. With this, SE's batch Rename…

Share menu as a pop-up (bottom of screen)
As another idea for a better way to display the list of installed apps for SE to 'Share' to, may I now suggest a slide-in method that would pop up from the bottom of the screen and displays the listed apps in a grid view.
Youtube and Shazam do this for their latest versions on Android.
Especially the Youtube 'share' menu seems to display the most/last used apps above a separator at the top of the list.
The Youtube 'share' menu also features it's own "copy url" action within the same 'share' menu....
....So perhaps SE 2.0 could also use…

Backup (import/export) features for all appsettings
Hello, I would be very happy if it was possible to add a backup function settings , cloud services , network services (SMB) , user interface , etc.
With the ability to import and export settings , in case you would need to do a factory reset on their device , so you do not have to enter all program settings again.
Of course it would be great if you could encrypt the data with a password if you so desire.9 votes -
Share menu like the overflow design featured in QuickPic
At first I was thinking of the latest Chrome browser (v39.0xx) on Android and it's 'Share' menu but then I had a re-think and thought that Solid Explorer users would want to benefit from a faster access 'Share' function instead of clicking through different menus, I hope the developer agrees :)
So now I support the one featuredin QuickPic in whereby it is a slim vertical rectangle that pops up as an overflow but does not reveal the full list of Share-ready apps without the user pressing 'more'....This just looks much smarter and would benefit SE 2.0, see attached screenshot.

Hide files and folders for Solid eyes only
I'd like to be able to toggle the visibility of a folder or file within Solid Explorer only, like the app MiXplorer does. Basically you can select files and folders and toggle a hidden/visible status or metadata that will make Solid Explorer not display them just as if they had a "." in front of their name, and if you need to manipulate them you would select a "show hidden files" option within the app

Add support for NOMEDIA creation in the overflow menu (toggle on or off)
Creation of NOMEDIA should be a relatively straightforward implementation and I can understand why the developer, Mr Głodowski, delayed on adding it to SE 1.6x because of where to fit in that previous UI.
Just a simple way to create a .NOMEDIA file is just this request....The top-right overflow menu would be the best place to put this menu item IMO where it's less obvious to accidentally toggle it
