1. Remote access to network drives?

   Hello, I have LAN/SMB connections set up to access my home network drives (NAS and router-connected external USB drive). Is it possible to remotely access these network drives from the app when I'm not connected to my home network? Thanks!

2. Love the app since 2016... but now can't access Google Drive!

   Hi, I paid for the app waaay back and I even have the emailed receipt from Krzysztof Glodowski via Google Play. And I don't have a problem paying again, except I don't know how to do that - it doesn't come up on Google Play and I have no ads or nag screens - I suspect it wouldn't help since I'm a registered user?!

   Anyway, I haven't had any problem for FOUR+ years, now all of a sudden it won't let me access Google Drive (I noticed it about 9/4/20 I think). I select it, pop up window says use fingerprint but then it sends me to "Internal Drive", not GD. I tried "use password" (I don't think I ever set one and if I did it was a helluva long time ago), trying more than a dozen combinations but no love. So I've gone the route of connecting my phone to the computer to upload files and it seems so... well, archaic! (Even though it's faster, I still have to find the files, find the folder, move the files....ugh!)

   How can I fix this?! I and my siblings transcribe lectures and meetings for my disabled sister and I'm getting anxiety trying to keep up and thinking I might lose/corrupt something with all the putzing around. Any help is greatly appreciated!! 9/28/2020

5. Please remove PHONE and CONTACT permission

   I bought Solid Explorer and I am disappointed at its permission requirement.

   Most file managers only use phone storage permission.

   Solid Explorer needs phone and contact permission. It is very sensitive things. There may be another way to verify license.

   Please remove PHONE and CONTACT permission and make only PAID app without adware.

15. Solid Explorer SMB v2.0 Not Working?

    In the past, I've utilized SE together with SMB 1 on my Windows 10 Machine without any issues. I do not want to utilize SMB 1 for security reasons I have therefore disabled it. If I attempt to join SE to my shares with SMB 2.0 protocol (verified within the app) I get the message "An error was encountered with network communication'. I am able to connect with other applications as well SMB 2 (like CX File Explorer) however it's not SE. If I enable SMB 1 on my Windows 10 PC, SE connects perfectly. Anyone else have issues in using Solid Explorer and SMB 2?
