  1. Have an option to disable strict SSL checking

    When connecting to ownCloud or any service over HTTPS, the app is too strict in checking SSL Authorities. Please add an option to accept any certificate or override problems in verifying the certificate chain.

    In my case I have my own ownCloud service which uses certificates issues by Let's Encrypt. Still the app has a problem connecting.

  2. android tv compatibility

    It would be great if I could install this on my Android TV, currently Google Play lists itas incompatible.

    I used to use ES Filemanager for this, but it deteriorated so much I uninstalled it.

    The main difference on Android Tvs is no touch input, the remote control basically has cursor buttons, numbers, OK (enter?) and Back

  4. Freezing on Nexus Player

    Latest update freezes after launch. I've tried erasing cache and data, and reinstalling, and rebooting device. After a new install, after agreeing with EULA, it freezes on the main screen (see attached pic)

  5. Video transfer problem

    Whenever i try to move a video from one place to other , it just get deleted/the full video isn't send and the file gets corrupted. Please resolve the issue

  6. Solid Explorer is failing to detect the presence of an external USB drive. It is not clear to me why this is happening.

    While the native Chrome O/S "Files" application detects my external USB drive, displays it's contents and allows file manipulation as expected, Solid Explorer fails to do/allow any of this. I am not seeing any configuration setting which might explain this deficiency. Please explain.

  7. Add IPv6 support for SE (S)FTP

    The ftp plugin works only with IPv4. It'd be nice if the functionality can be extended to support IPv6 over wifi & cellular.

    I have paid for SE for my Android phones and just got a Fire, installed Play Store. I'd rather not pay again. How do I unlock SE on the Fire?

  9. Better icon for Android TV Leanback Launcher

    Please create a better icon for Android TV Leanback Launcher.
    Currently there is none (I think), so it only gets the standard Android phone app icon inside a Leanback Launcher Banner (320x180px).

  10. Can not connect to WebDAV (HTTPS) with self signed certificate

    Got the message 'there was a problem with ssl communication', I know it is not safe with self signed certificate, but it will be good to add an option of ignoring the risk.

  11. Trying to figure out how to set permissions for a file in this app?

    Trying to figure out how to set file permissions in this app - read-only, etc. (basic chmod stuff really, which should be possible with any decent file explorer software). Can anyone let me know how to do this as I've hunted all over for it. Otherwise this seems a really nice app and I would plan to purchase it. Thanks

  12. Can not connect to Windows 10 SMB without internet access

    I access my shared folders on my PC via Solid Explorer with SMB/LAN. Everything works fine as long my internet is working. If I somehow lose internet, it can not access my PC on network. WiFi is still connected. SMB should not be depended on internet.

  13. When I use solid explorer offline, it's always popup trial period over and you need to activate full version message box. Even I've purchase

  15. Thumbnail previews don't last

    I'm using solid explorer to access images on my owncloud server. I've got a lot of images there and I have to manually scroll through all of them page by page to get thumbnails generated for them. So I can find images easily when having only mobile connection. This is not very convenient and takes some time but works. But the problem is, that those thumbnails don't last long. After some days, they seem to be removed and then I have to generate them manually again, which sucks. How can I avoid something like this?

  17. Image viewer

    I have several image viewers on my phone. I found one I like that can zoom in a lot. My problem is it seems like you are forcing me to use SE Image Viewer.

    When I browse to my desktop computer and it's shared folders, let's say a folder has 500 images. When browsing with SE Image Viewer I can scroll left and right through the images. No problem there.

    When I use another image viewer I can only view the images I open. So example, I open image #43 in the directory. Cannot scroll left and right. Back out…
