  1. FTP garbled problem

    I set up a FTP server via IIS on my computer, it works fine with most of FTP clients, but in Solid Explorer, the Chinese words would become garbled. I hope that you can fix it, it's really a big problem for me.

  2. Image viewer fails on archived images

    When opening a zip archive containing images, Solid Explorer Image Viewer first shows an X on red background for every image contained. Scrolling right and then left again sometimes loads the image properly, sometimes it doesn't work. Seems related to image size, like it tries to load it before it is completely read from the archive, and thus fail.

  4. add files to sequential copy not working

    steps to reproduce
    1. go to dual pane view
    2. select some big files and copy by clicking on the clipboard Icon in the opposite pane
    3. the Icon changes and now Shows the copy process in %
    4. select more files in the first pane and copy to clipboard
    -> paste is not possible because the Icon is showing the copy process
    so one cannot add more files to do sequentila copy

    You need to minimize current operation to queue a new one. Maximize the status window first, and then tap the down arrow. I will improve this in later updates, since it’s not very intuitive.

  5. Migrating from Solid Explorer Classic?

    Could the options, including the configured network resources, be imported from Solid Explorer Classic?

  6. Problem with SE text editors scroll button(idk what its called)..

    Without using the scroll button on the right side : While scrolling to the end of the file the scroll button reaches only half way unlike the old SE text editor where it reaches to the bottom of the screen.

  8. SFTP issues with newer algorithms

    It seems that SE fails to connect to SFTP servers that only support newer sha2 algorithms.

    The server has the following key exchange algorithms enabled:
    ecdh-sha2 over secp256k1
    diffie-hellman-gex-sha256

    The server has the following data integrity protection algorithms enabled:
    hmac-sha2-256

    SE won't connect to this server unless older sha1 algorithms are added.

    I think maybe it's as simple as updating the Ganymed library that SE uses. Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions.

  9. Allow installation on non-touchscreen devices

    I want to be able to install Solid Explorer on Android TV without side loading each update. Please allow support for non-touchscreen devices in the manifest so that Solid Explorer can be installed and updated on Android TV via the Play Store.

  12. include alpha transparency in color pickers

    or make the "dark" theme option consistent with system framework background for people with theming engine or who want their homescreen wallpaper as background. as shown in the screenshot. not everybody likes material design colors.

  15. Hide/Remove "USB Drive 1" from list of storages

    In the list of Storages in the side menu, I have:

    Root
    Internal Memory
    SD Card
    USB Drive 1

    However, when I tap on "USB Drive 1", it just takes me to the external SD Card - exactly the same as when I tap on "SD Card". It's a duplication of the same location.

    Therefore I'd like to be able to hide "USB Drive 1" from the list of Storages, so it's not visible at all. Otherwise it's taking up valuable space there.

    Perhaps the 3-dot menu next to the USB Drive 1 (which gives you "Unmount") can be moved…

  16. Long press menu disappears

    This is the main problem for me. When I long press a file to get the copy/paste menu. 9/10 times the copy /paste menu appears and immediately disappears. I have to unselect and long press multiple times for the menu to remain. This is on a nexus 6p. I've been waiting for this to be fixed by ear thinking it must not be a known bug.

    We need an info of a apk before installing it like es file explorer. it will show the apk size, version, etc when we tab on the apk file.

  18. Accsess denied

    I use SE with Chromcast to watch movies from a networked computer. When movie is done I cut and paste into another folder within that same folder. I did this all through the trial period. Last night I purchased full version now when I try the same thing I get Access Denied
    Did I waste my $2,50
    Any ideas

  19. Hotkey Support

    The app supports basic keyboard operations (typing & movement with the arrow keys). However, I would like to be able to use standard keyboard shortcuts for file management (e.g., ctrl+x/c/v for cut/copy/paste; alt+backspace for back). With the upcoming addition of Android apps to ChromeOS, this would be an excellent way to future-proof the app and make it a strong contender against the native Files browser, which is kind of not great.

    Also, it would make existing workflow on a tablet that much more efficient. :)
