  2. I can't connect to my Synology NAS from outside my home network

    What works: LAN/SMB connection to NAS from within home network

    What doesn't work: LAN/SMB connection to NAS from outside home network via "myfritz" DDNS by the router and forwarding port 5001 to the NAS. The address that works (!) in a browser is something like this https://somecrypticcharacters.myfritz.net:5001 It also works in the NAS app "DS file" of Synology. But Solid Explorer can't find the host. I've tried different combinations of the ports 5001 & 445, both in the address line and in the extra port field. Nothing worked.

    What am I doing wrong?

  5. Prevent sleep during a long copy operation

    Is there a way to keep the phone awake while copying a large folder over a relatively slow connection?

  8. Encryption problem

    I try new encryption feature. I'm able to encrypt file and directory, but if I use the "delete original file" option, SE in no more able to make it red by a program (for ex a PDF). You can only decrypt and rebuild original file. I mean, once I encrypted a file, I'd like to read it just with fingerprint and then colose it, I don't want decrypt it and delete it after reading

  9. Within the app, inside sliding menu, under collection section, music, photos, applications etc are mentioned. Kindly, add documents section.

    A 'documents' section should be introduced in collection; that should list all the documents from all the storage together in one view. The 'application' is useless. However, Pictures, Music, Videos are fine. But Documents should also be part of it to show all the supported popular document formats files.

  10. Slow moving files within one drive

    If file has quite a large size, moving it within same drive takes noticeable amount of time.
    As I understand, current implementation of the moving procedure first copies file to new place and then removes the old one. However the correct way would be just to rename it,
    as suggested at http://stackoverflow.com/a/24841162
    Renaming needs only a fraction of a second.

  11. SMB connection with Linux PC

    I'm trying to establish an SMB connection with my PC, which runs Linux Mint 18.1. I make the folders I want shared, then create a new smb connection in Solid Explorer, I get the list of the folders that I shared, but when I try to open any of them I get a message "The network name cannot be found".
    Previously, with Windows OS, I had no issues. Please, give me some help.

  13. Connecting to samba server with custom port is sooooooo slow when trying outside of network.

    connecting to SMB server is too slow. My company only allow one tcp port for security, like 8022 port. My SMB server uses this custom port. When connect inside the network of company, it is really fast and comfortable. However when I try to connect at home, the connection successes but reallly slow.

    In trying to complete a DropBox connection, the last step shows a screen stating, <<"This connection needs to be encrypted now. Please enter you master password.">>
    Which "master password" is expected here? My DropBox master password isn't working.

  16. liked it a lot .. neat trouble free navigation . extremely smother flicker free interface .. plz add a download manager function that helps

    add a download manager function can download my files directly into my SD card rather than downloading it on my device storage just like the ES File Explorer but I like this file explorer in terms of design and flicker free experience . Download Manager function we will surely dominate this app over other file explorers for sure . ..

  17. Solid Explorer not showing Documents file

    Solid Explorer is not able to find the Documents folder. I'm getting the message: Requested directory was not found. Path: /storage/emulated/0/Documents

    The Documents folder does exist and is accessible through My Files. It just doesn't show up in Solid Explorer.

  19. SE Image Viewer poor quality

    The built in SE Image Viewer seems to compress images very highly probably to save RAM but the image quality is terrible compared to other viewers. I would use another app but it seems like I can only scroll between pictures in the same encrypted location when using the built in SE Image Viewer. Other apps won't let you scroll. If there is a way to use another app to scroll between images within an encrypted folder, please let me know! Either that or add an option to improve the image quality of the SE Image Viewer.

  20. Solid Explorer doesn't show up in "Open from" list

    Until a recent update (I believe it was yesterday, Nov 23) Solid Explorer showed up in the "Open from" list in Android's built in file browser. This was inconsistent even before the update. Solid Explorer appeared in the list when I opened the Android browser from KeePassDroid. It did not appear in the list when opened from Keepass2Android. Since the update, it doesn't appear in the list ever.

    I'm running Android 8.0.0 on a Pixel XL.
