  1. Root access granted since opened

    When the app started it can't directly to go to root/folder, it must wait for seconds untill root granted then file can be opened.

    So maybe i think it is better if root access granted since the app opened.

  7. Fingerprint for master password doesn't work after Android Update

    Have had Solid Explorer since the "Half Price" sale and used the free one before that. Worked great till the recent Android Version update to Oreo. I NEVER assigned a "Master Password. PERIOD. Only used the fingerprint. worked flawlessly. After the up date it started asking for my password on cloud storage. Fingerprint does not work, and just as you say, asking for a reset blocks all access ( that you did not have anyway) to the cloud. It also uses the incorrect username - my internet mail username and not my Google account username, ????
    Tried a complete uninstall…

  10. FTP Server Toggle Widget

    Add a toggle widget for the FTP server, that allows the server to be switched on and off directly from the home screen. Make the icon reflect the status.

    Bonus: include an option 'turn server off x min after last activity'
    Bonus: include an option 'turn server on when connected to WLAN xyz'

  11. Drag and drop quick actions and customizable context tools orders

    I used ES File Explorer for a long time, and I think it was a clever idea to have press and hold then move to the screen corners to Share, Copy, Move, Delete files.

    As well as to rearrange context menus (such as copy, cut, move, delete, share, etc) bar icons and actions, you could place it to after you press and hold the selected files, you'd just drag n drop over the icons (showing a confirmation tooltip, like when you press and hold each icon, material design guideline) and do the following.

    I purchase solid explorer pro today. Before I was using ES file explorer. I like the material design of solid explorer. But one thing I missed in solid explorer is APP BACKUP AND RESTORE....ES file explorer is able to backup apps and data with root access which solid explorer lacks.... Please add this feature...

  13. Drag to select and batch rename with EXIF (numbers not letters)

    Currently if I want to select multiple files, have to click one by one or select all. Is it possible to drag down to select multiple files just like Quickpic?

    In addition, I read there were some people suggest the batch rename before and I did see such function; however, the date is listed like June 1 2018. Is it possible to let user define how to show the date format from EXIF?
    for example: #Y-#M-#D#H-#M-S = 2018-06-0412:44:00

    Since Quickpic now doesn't modify the software for Android 8.0, I would like to see if SE2.0 can replace Quickpic…

  14. Losing license every time I lose signal, or go in Airplane mode

    I already filed a bug report, sent an email, wrote on Facebook, left a negative review on Google Play but still it seems like the developer doesn't care for my problem, same as he doesn't for a multitude of people on Google Play leaving negative reviews after getting annoyed of being ignored for an app they paid for. So hopefully people here know a workaround.

    I'm a sailor so I often go out of antenna reach for extended periods of time. During that time, Solid Explorer switches back to expired trial mode so it immediately quits.

  15. Bring Back "Open Beside" Option

    Back in the good ol' Solid Explorer Classic users were able to long press a folder and was given an "Open Beside" option. It allowed us rotation-locked, portrait users to quickly transfer a file from one folder to any other folder with relative ease. With the new Solid Explorer we have to swap panels, navigate to the folder, swap back, then finally move the file. Please bring this option back.

    Amaze file manager includes an SQLite viewer, it would be great if an sqlite editor (or at least a viewer) was added to Solid Explorer.

  18. Fail to Copy some files (*.dwg, *.epub, *.fb2) from webdav

    Hello!

    when trying to copy some files (*.dwg, *.epub, *.fb2) from storage connected via webdav (https IIS windows server 2012), the process is interrupted with an error! If you copy this files through the computer from the folder connected via webdav, then everything is fine ...

    any other files (doc, xls, jpg etc.) are copied and opened without problems ...

  20. Bug: SE text editor keeps scrolling up.

    Every time I tap on a specific part of the text it goes back to the top. In the attach video its not me scrolling up, the app keeps doing it by itself.
    I'm using Lineageos 16 on Xiaomi MI A1.
