  4. Amazon App Store

    Please release the unlocker on the Amazon Appstore. Some of us do not have the CC/DC access. Hence, it would be a great to buy the app from Amazon Appstore and support the developer.

    This will also decrease piracy which I have seen on many devices.

  5. Add MTP capability

    Hello there.
    As a daily user of Solid Explorer I would love to browse other phones' file systems via my usb otg cable. As many know Android uses the MTP protocol to transfer files between devices by usb.

  6. How to move file between internal and external storage

    I want to move file/directory from internal storage to external SD card and not able to figure out how to do it. Cant do it fine in ES File Explorer.Samsung Galaxy S4 rooted and on Lollypop.

    Here is how I do it.
    1. Goto internal storage, select file or folder and click Copy icon. Small checkmark appears on top to show that I have something in clipboard.
    2. Now I do NOT see option to go to other storage folders, I can only go to the top of internal storage

  8. Fluid faster scrolling support in the file manager

    Scrolling could be made to have that same liquid fluidity that many iPhone apps feature in where a user gently scrolls and it fluidly scrolls faster than average with greatly reduced friction.

    On HTC devices with Sense 6, the HTC 'Messenger' app has this. Also the Android app exDialer also features this to an extent.

    It's something to do with tweaking the listview and friction within the code of an Android app.

    It would so very much suit Solid Explorer to have this,not just merely animation wise but more importantly for when scrolling down a really long list of content…

    In the first screenshot you can see "AzRecorderFree" folder shows up as 42.3MB, when i open properties its shows 0KB (2nd screenshot)

  10. Tap + Hold --> "Open Beside" option missing

    In classic SE the way to quickly move files from one folder to another was to:

    Tap + Hold on destination folder and click "Open Beside" to open it in the side panel.

    Then you could send files to the background (or side panel depending on orientation) very quickly and easily.

    In the new version you must navigate to the destination folder in a separate panel since the "Open Beside" option is missing.

    Please bring back the "Open Beside" option!

  12. Photo viewer sort

    When you sort a folder of pictures in the Explorer and then open one in the Image Viewer, upon swiping between pictures in the Viewer it uses alphabetical order regardless of the setting in the Explorer. It would be much more intuitive and useful if the order displayed in the Explorer also applied to the Viewer.

  14. SE Video Cast / Player

    While trying to play a video I found that SE Video Cast is not playing a video and it shows error that 'No chromecast available' , though when audio was tried it did played it without showing it in notification (for controls).

  17. SE 2.0 Service Prozeß

    Hello
    Solid Explorer 2.0 is great , but I have found a problem !
    SE 2.0 runs as a service after the end process in the background and consumes more active use of the phones CPU time and battery !
    SE 1.0 does not run as a service process after completion .
    Please program SE 2.0 so that it is closed komlett and not as a service process continues.

  18. Generate video thumbnail from *.flv files

    Solid Explorer doesn't generate thumbnails for flash video files. I don't think this is a bug since it has been that way since the Solid Explorer's beta.

    I would like for such feature to be implemented so that I can browse through my flv video files without relying on file names only.

    Provide the ability to password protect folders in internal storage/SD card. Let this be at least for Hidden folders option.
