SE 2.0 Service Prozeß
Hello
Solid Explorer 2.0 is great , but I have found a problem !
SE 2.0 runs as a service after the end process in the background and consumes more active use of the phones CPU time and battery !
SE 1.0 does not run as a service process after completion .
Please program SE 2.0 so that it is closed komlett and not as a service process continues.19 votes -
Generate video thumbnail from *.flv files
Solid Explorer doesn't generate thumbnails for flash video files. I don't think this is a bug since it has been that way since the Solid Explorer's beta.
I would like for such feature to be implemented so that I can browse through my flv video files without relying on file names only.

Ability to password protect an internal storage/SD card folder
Provide the ability to password protect folders in internal storage/SD card. Let this be at least for Hidden folders option.

Chromecast
I sent a bug report on this issue.
I have a Nexus 5x with 7.1.2 running the latest release of SE. The issue is that when I attempt to cast from SE to my Chromecast the application fails and crashes... Every single time. Does anyone else have this issue?

Keep file timestamp when copying to SMB2
When copying a file to a windows share, the file takes the timestamp at the time of the copy (create and modified).
Instead, keeping the modified timestamp to the timestamp in the Android system would be better.
Typical case is mp4 videos (that have no time metadata, except the file metada) that lose that info when copied to a SMB2 share.

Backup, Restore and Wipe data
Hi,
Please rebirth the Backup and Restore feature into the new SE 2.0 :)
Alongside this, within the settings, please also introduce the planned 'Wipe app data' too which would reset SE 2.0 back to a fully default state: http://support.solidexplorer.pl/responses/reset-all-settings-restore-app-to-default-settings
SE 1.6x already has a Backup and Restore function that saves all app data to a specific file (with a filename timestamp).
However I still observe that the 'Restore' process within SE 1.6x is a bit flawed as it should allow for restoring backpus via simple normal file browsing instead of opening a separate 'Restore' file manager window that was…

Changing view mode for this folder and its subfolders
Right now, you can only change view mode for only one folder at a time. I propose to add an another checkbox (or even to replace the existing one) to change view mode in this folder and all the subfolders. This can be useful in Pictures folder, for instance, when you have ten sub folders which all contain pics too.

Extract contents of multiple zips together.
When I select multiple zips and tap "extract", it extracts only one zip and not all. Ideally, it should extract the contents of all zips that are selected.

Add unavailable SMB storages
It seems to be impossible to add known SMB storages, that currently isn't accessible ...?
I'd say it should be possible to add storages, independently of whether SE actually is able to connect to them upon the time of adding ...?

[Nexus 6]OTG-Plugin Not Working
Plugging in the OTG Drive (OTG SD Card reader) with fat32 formatted sdcard, Solid Explorer asks for access permission. After granting permission, in the left side bar where the drives are listed, the OTG drive will show "Error. Space usage not available". Upon clicking on that drive, the error message "suspicious sectors per cluster count -128" will appear. Log attached. I'd be happy to provide more data if needed.

LAN Connection failed
LAN Connection always fail while trying to connect. But it is working with other file browsers like EsExplorer. Sent this problem along with the log and got reply that it is because of authentication problem. But it is not, because with the same credential i can able to login from my laptop and with EsExplorer. Because of this problem I have to use other file browsers in my phone. Please solve this problem as early as possible. Thank you.

SD Card Problem with Android 6.0.1
SD Card Access not working anymore since Android Marshmallow. Files cannot be deleted or changed, renamed, copied, moved anymore see Picture.

Name USB Devices
I have got one question concerning the OTG function. Is it somehow possible to give connected devices specific names?
When I'm travelling I work only with my phone and so have a SD-Card, USB-Stick and 2 Harddiscs connected at the same time. So they are all called USBx for x=1,2,3,4.
It would make it a lot easier to name the different Devices with specific names to get a faster overview.18 votes -
Option to change filename when a file is shared to solid Explorer
When saving for example a downloaded file or a photo using the share to... function, the filename can't be changed. Only the folder can be selected. Could you please also provide the option to change the filename in the save to dialog box. ( as is usually the case in desktop os) (I know you can do it in solid Explorer, but this requires opening SE en navigating to the same folder

On selected items, add an option to secure delete. Like the shred command in linux.
