  1. Add a feature to create symlink

    I see possibility to create symlinks (soft links) handy on phones.

    Here is examples.

    • I want to use Syncthing, Parrot recorder, camer apps and other great apps. That apps store a lot of data, but nevertheless great apps, save that lot of appdata to Internal memory.

    • Syncthing guys said Go lang dosn't support SD write to SD cards in Android yet.

    • Many camera apps save photos/videos to their folder, that can't be changed.

    • Some phones, like my Lenovo K3 Note also have some weird play around SD card. So some apps think internal memory is my SD card.

  3. Thumbnails for videos aren't generated for a secure folder

    Images inside a secure folder could have their thumbnails generated. This is however not the case for video files.

  4. Thumbnails for Folders

    Allow folders to auto-generate thumbnails based on image or video content and/or allow the user to manually place a certain file to use as a folder thumbnail (similar to using folder.jpg in windows to force a certain thumbnail)

  6. Seafile cloud storage support

    It's a cloud storage that can either be rented or self-hosted for free. Would be nice to see support some day.

  8. text file content edit and copy

    In Solid Explorer's text file editer, selecting all and copying to other app(like telegram) will lose all line ending info. The whole text will be displayed in one line.
    As the picture shows, when select all in Root Explorer text editer, it selects the whole area including blank area.The line endings will be handled correctly when it is copied to other app.

  9. Sending files whose names contain ":" or "?" to Windows could lead to corrupted file

    What I did:
    made file and named it something with ":" character, say, "foobar: coolvideo.mp4".
    sent it to Windows machine (Samba) via wi-fi.
    then the file name would become "foobar" and its size will be zero.

    You would better to throw exception on illegal file names.

  12. Please add the ability to run scripts

    I have a .sh file that I'd like to be able to run with root privileges in Solid Explorer. However, currently, there is no ability to do this.

    Important: no option for recorvery password on protected folder.

  15. How to move file between internal and external storage

    I want to move file/directory from internal storage to external SD card and not able to figure out how to do it. Cant do it fine in ES File Explorer.Samsung Galaxy S4 rooted and on Lollypop.

    Here is how I do it.
    1. Goto internal storage, select file or folder and click Copy icon. Small checkmark appears on top to show that I have something in clipboard.
    2. Now I do NOT see option to go to other storage folders, I can only go to the top of internal storage

  16. Cannot copy to external sd

    I cannot copy from internal sdcard to external sdcard and it keeps asking to grant permission and select the root folder only...please fix this and make it easier...I fuckin paid for this app...for fixxxx iiiiittttt ;(

  17. Cant delete files from attached devices

    Hi,

    got this Problem over months:
    When i attached a usb otg stick or any other device to my devices i can copy files, read files, create folder etc BUT i cant delete them. With other file Managers its no problem to delete.
    Yes i gave permission to the attached device.
    I bought the otg add on too but nothing helps.

    I tried to Format different Formats (exfat, nfs, fat32) still not working

    I send a lot of error Reports to Solid but nothing changes. Ill try this way.

  18. Purchase detection error loop

    I've bought it on Google Play, but now I can't use it.
    Every time I open the app, it says the trial is over, and I should buy the full version. But if I try to buy it again, Google Play will say that I've bought it so I can't buy it again.
    So it kind of stuck on the strange loop: won't let me use because I'm detected not bought yet by the app, and won't let me buy because I've actually already bought it.

  20. Unable to copy from Downloads to root because view switches

    I want to copy a file from my /storage/emulated/0/Download folder to /system/etc but can't because even when I go to my root folder and then go to the Download folder SE switches to the "Internal storage" view. I selected and copy my file to the clipboard but can't go back to the root folder. I can't use the hamburger menu und using the back button wants to quit the program.

    I was told this would be a good replacement for ES but the design is clearly flawed.
