  1. Display any errors such as Duplicates in the rename preview -[Batch Rename improvement]

    batch Rename needs to show duplicate errors within the preview by highlighting the offending text as Red color

    Same for any other renaming errors such as bad characters

    Please look at the attached screenshot which displays a duplicate renaming in the Preview

  2. eperator item in storage manager

    Since you dont want to group storages by type, probably can add an item to add storage dialog that is a seperator, so the user can do so manually for organisational reasons.

  4. Photo features

    Now that quickpic has been sold to cheetah and been uninstalled from many many devices I can see an opportunity for SE2 a photos addon that focuses solely on photos, I'm happy giving access to dropbox, google drive, nas for files if I could add photos from various sources to a unified collection that would be awesome. Flickr, FB and gphotos allowing me to have everything in the one place.

  5. Generate video thumbnail from *.flv files

    Solid Explorer doesn't generate thumbnails for flash video files. I don't think this is a bug since it has been that way since the Solid Explorer's beta.

    I would like for such feature to be implemented so that I can browse through my flv video files without relying on file names only.

  6. add files to sequential copy not working

    steps to reproduce
    1. go to dual pane view
    2. select some big files and copy by clicking on the clipboard Icon in the opposite pane
    3. the Icon changes and now Shows the copy process in %
    4. select more files in the first pane and copy to clipboard
    -> paste is not possible because the Icon is showing the copy process
    so one cannot add more files to do sequentila copy

    You need to minimize current operation to queue a new one. Maximize the status window first, and then tap the down arrow. I will improve this in later updates, since it’s not very intuitive.

  7. "Save to" feature in the share menu

    Most Google+ pages don't allow you to download their photos from the Google+ app. I used to hit the "share" button and use the "save to" feature in ES File Explorer.

    Now, after I changed to Solid Explorer, this feature is not just present. In the "Share" menu, all I can find from Solid Explorer is "upload to cloud".

  8. Add file/folder shortcut from widgets menu.

    Right now, I can see the option to create a shortcut to a file or folder on the home screen, from within Solid Explorer by long pressing, But the traditional "widget type Shortcut" is no longer available from the widget picker.
    This creates a problem when for example, trying to assign a custom gesture to a folder using a third party launcher, which would no longer show Solid Explorer as an option in "Shortcuts".

  9. Delete files with Gutmann method (optional)

    Hi,

    i want to delete some files properly and therefore Gutmann method would be a good solution to this.

    I think this delete method should only be optional to the normal method because it is only relevant for important data and it is not very fast.

  13. Little costly for India

    I think price of 110 is little costly for India
    U can boost your sale lot by doing what app like
    Poweramp, greenify, nova launcher did..
    That keep special price for India and China
    For a file Explorer, price of rupees 30 that's half dollar is ok

  14. Cut and paste

    Cut and paste in SD card is actually doing copy and delete. It's not a real cut and paste. It's really waster time when I want move a big file to another folder. Compare to file commander.

  15. Make USB OTG remember the Android authorization dialog

    Hello, please make USB OTG remember the selection made by the user in the Android authorization dialog (please see attached picture) that asks the user: "Allow the app Solid Explorer to access the USB device?" And there's a check box to indicate "Use by default for this USB device". However, even after selecting this checkbox, this dialog is always appearing after connecting the same USB device. Having used the app StickMount from Chainfire before, I can see that it remembers my selection and the dialog doesn't appear when inserting the same USB device. I mention this to let you know…

  16. WebDAV problems

    Just got a wireless flashdrive and connected to it using WebDAV, but it is very slow, specially when streaming, also, when I cancel the streaming(because it wasn't able to play), the reading in the drive is still active

    Tried same method in the classic version of Solid Explorer, and I got good results

  17. Properties needs to show separate Name and Extension

    So, for under the 'file properties' sub-heading

    1. "Extension" - there's needs to be a separate display of the extension. If a file as no extension, then something written like (none) in brackets should be displayed

    2. "Filename" - theres needs to be a separate display of the full filename. Currently the Properties in SE does not display the full filename for a long filenames and also current Properties in SE 2.0 only displays the filename vaguely at the top of window which looks poor and not detailed.

  18. Renaming an extension (inside single-rename)

    I think it is necessary important that "Extension" be a separate renaming choice in the single-Rename dialog.

    There are reasons for this in my experience:

    1. having to drag scroll a long filename text just to get to the end of the name to edit the extension after it's dot

    2. While drag-scrolling the name text, Android often would initiate an automatic Paste dialog which can be accidentally tappped

    3. The system keyboard would try to auto-captialize a letter after detecting the dot which is normal behaviour but is unwanted when doing a Rename

    4. By implementing this request, it would make visually seeing…

    When folder been hidden , place a " .nomedia " file in that folder . so files in that cannot be shown in any other media view or player ..

  20. Enhanced support for App Folder Icons

    Thanks to the completed request of this: http://neatbytes.uservoice.com/forums/274528-solid-explorer-2-0/suggestions/7183846-see-which-app-created-directory

    Solid Explorer 2.0 now shows miniaturized App icons for which app created which folder and this is really nifty for the main Internal Storage directory.

    However, to state the obvious, SE needs to support much more third-party app icons that are out there

    I know that some apps that I have currently installed are now extinct (no longer available on Play store).

    So here is a list from my screenshots that I would like Folder App Icon support for..
