SE doesn't ask for master password after closing it with double back tap
When SE is closed with a double tap of the Back button and a master password is set, it is possible to reopen SE and use cloud storages without re-inserting the master password. If SE is closed by swiping off the app from recent apps, the password is asked (as it should). Using Solid Explorer 2.0.3 on a Nexus 5 with Android M preview

Interesting catch seems like a session state issue when using the back button vs. force closing. Hopefully this gets patched in future updates. Meanwhile, for anyone using tools like SE and looking for good deals on premium apps or cloud storage, https://couponcabs.com

I’ve noticed this behavior as well it seems Solid Explorer sometimes keeps sessions alive when closed via double back tap, but properly clears them when force-swiped away. This might be tied to how Android M handles task lifecycle states. Hopefully the devs will patch it so the master password is consistently enforced.

Interesting issue you noticed with SE. On a side note, just like finding reliable software, picking the right wardrobe essentials makes life easier too. That usually happens because the app isn’t fully closing when you double back tap — it’s just being minimized. In that case, the session remains active, so it won’t prompt for the master password again. To fix this, check the app’s settings for “lock on exit” or “require master password on reopen” options. Alternatively, force close the app from your phone’s app manager to ensure it resets properly.

I’ve noticed similar behavior with other security-related apps, so it might be worth checking if this is related to Android’s memory handling rather than SE itself. In my workflow, I often organize project assets with visual labels for quick recognition, and I keep a reference here: https://www.custompatches.us.com/ — though unrelated to passwords, a similar “visual cue” concept could improve usability in SE.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same behavior. Seems like when you double-tap back, the app doesn't fully exit from memory, so it skips the password check. But force-closing (like swiping it away) triggers a proper restart, which is why it asks for the master password again. Hopefully, this gets patched in a future update — definitely a security concern.

It sounds like you're referring to an issue where your device (likely an iPhone SE) is not prompting for the master password after https://thecookoutmenuprices.com/cookout-drinks-menu/ using the double back tap feature to close an app.

It seems the issue is related to the double back tap closing the app without prompting for the master password. Could it be a temporary glitch? Hi everyone, I’m using Solid Explorer 2.0.3 on a Nexus 5 with Android M preview, and I’ve noticed an issue where the app does not require the master password when closed using a double tap of the Back button. This allows access to cloud storages without re-entering the password. However, closing SE by swiping it off from recent apps does prompt for the password as expected. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution? I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks! When a secure application like SE (Secure Enclave) doesn't prompt for the master password after closing it with a double back tap, it raises concerns about security and usability. This behavior could potentially create vulnerabilities, as the app might remain accessible without re-authentication. Ideally, a well-designed secure application should require users to re-enter their master password or use another authentication method upon reopening to ensure that sensitive information remains protected. This practice helps safeguard against unauthorized access and maintains the integrity of the security measures in place. If this issue is observed, it may https://pellepellejackets.us/shop/ be worth investigating the app's settings or reaching out to the developers for support to address and resolve the security lapse.

If your Secure Enclave (SE) or security software is not prompting for the master password after closing it with a double back tap, it might be a configuration or security policy issue. you can ensure that your https://apkblings.com/mech-arena-mod-apk/ security application prompts for the master password as expected, enhancing the security of your device and data.
