Unmount a USB device (safely remove)

Ability to Unmount a USB device.

This is already suppoted in the Android system settings under "storage"

I am unsure if this feature may require a Root support.

However it would be fantastic to be able safely remove a USB device just by long-pressing in the desired usb within the left-swipe menu

    As far as I know, for usb eject, only a link to the device settings are allowed. Anything else requires root (or something setup by the manufacturer ... Aka your media box notification?). Perhaps I'm wrong...

    I didn't realize this link was there until I saw your completed request... Yeah!

    I am thinking that there might be an API for this since natjve Android 4.4 kit kat installed on my Android media box already supports thia from within the Notification display.

    It would be fantastic if SE 2.0 featured it's own 'Safely remove' feature if it is possible.
