As the developer (Mr Glodowski) has mentioned this feature request is not needed.
And the new "Show sections" feature in Solid Explorer 2.0 already fulfils the requirement of actively displaying what type of sort method for a folder is being used.
So I think this topic should be closed/marked as 'already present'.

Ok, the developer has stated on Google-plus that this feature would not be relevant and would affect the UI harmony of SE 2.0
I understand the developers viewpoint with this feedback :)
