Manage associations (just like SE 1.6)
It would be great (at some point later) if SE 2.0 could re-integrate the "Manage associations" list-feature in the settings.
It enabled control over which Applications got default opened with each file extension :)
12 votesThis feature is not needed now.
To associate an app with an extension: open the file and select “Always”
To clear the association: use “Open with” and open with different app using “Only once” -

Android wear support
6 votesI don’t see any reason to support Android Wear.

Remove first or last characters -[Batch Rename improvement]
The developer has already suggested using Regular Expressions to achieve this however to be honest I don't use RegEx and never have even on Windows.
Solid Explorer users are not coders and should not be expected to be.
Furthermore, a simple UI space for Removing first/last characters of a long filename should be implemented, IMO
I have thought about this and have even created a mock-up showing how it could look like within the Batch Rename window. The mock-up shows that it use tap input for the switcher up or down
I hope this could be added.
2 votesThere are regular expression for that. Use ^.{x} to replace first x characters and .{x}$ to replace last x characters.

UDF and ISO 9660 file system support (for future)
Please provide Read-only support for the UDF file system and ISO 9660 system.
To be considered after SE 2.0 final release
This is for strictly read-only support, not writing.
These two file systems are primarily associated with disc media (CD, DVD, Blu Ray)
It would be nice to enjoy playback/reading of ordinary videos, music, documents, archives etc that are burned to these data discs. So this is not for commercial movie DVDs or commercial Blu Rays with menus.
There are some limited alternatives like a usb based Samsung drive that emulate FAT 32 as a pass through method however they…
4 votesWho will use that anyway? This kind of functionality should be implemented by the OS.

more than two pages
it would be great if we could create new pages..
so we could open more locations at the same time6 votesYou can already open more than two locations. The rest is moved to the background and you can access them in the sidebar.

Add detailed grid view
Can you add a mode of detailed grid view in vertical mode?
It is hard to find a folder or file in the new viewing mode in SEB, especially some location that contain lots of file.9 votesYou can already achieve this type of view by making the list smaller with the pinch gesture.

Display Folder Size by Default
Have Solid Explorer display folder sizes by default.
I want to see how big my Documents folder is without trying to tap to folder properties. It should display by default, or it can be turned off by a setting.
3 votesThis operation significantly slows down folder listing so it needs to be disabled by default. You can always enable it manually if you want in folder options popup.

Support PDF
Support PDF reading. Just simple reading.
34 votesI can’t think of a reason why file manager should open PDF files. There are many apps for that, please use them.

Add menu button into navigation bar
Simply add (or move) menu button ("...") into navigation bar. You don't need to strain your finger to touch on this.
Here is the example:3 votesAs far as I know this can’t be added programatically without any system modifications, sorry.

Download beta without G+
On your + page I noticed that you plan to release the app to a beta phase in around 2 updates. I understand the need to use a controlled group, such as +, for your alpha phase. However, I hope you will consider a direct download (similar to what Nova Launcher offers) or some other non-social method.
I would love to get involved with testing the app, as I did with the v1 beta. However, I do not use g+ or any social media platforms.

Tabs on top
Can you make an option - tabs on top and be able to choose and see all the time which tab is used.
43 votesI’m personally against tabs – they will take too much space. I’m thinking about providing a page indicator that will take as little space as possible.

Add up button
Add this little button ( http://imgur.com/ZJ4nzw2 ) for up folder
3 votesThat’s not needed, up navigation is provided by the back button and the action bar.

PIN to Access/Remount Protected Filesystem
When accessing protected parts of the filesystem (/data /etc) or remounting / to read/write, have Solid Explorer prompt a user PIN to grant privileges to the operation.
9 votesI don’t think this is needed for an app. It would be better if SuperSu supported this feature.

Option for changing Solid Explorer language
I think it will be nice if we have settings to change Solid Explorer language, not just English. I can help for translation into Romanian.
6 votesSolid Explorer will use your system language and there is no need for such option. I will translate the app for the final release.

grid icon size
grid icon size should be somehow smaller in alpha, in stable version it is perfect .
4 votesIt’s already possible to change the size with a pinch gesture.

Suggestion for bookmark panel
When there are 4 bookmarks then SE 2.0 shows them all. But when there are 5 or more bookmarks, it shows only the first 3 and we have to click one extra time to access the remaining bookmarks. So please make SE 2.0 show all the bookmarks at once without having to click one more time. Please refer the screenshots attached.
11 votesI would agree if the sidebar contained only storages and bookmarks, but with further updates it will display even more sections and I need to collapse them to take less space. Instead of that I can consider saving the expanded/collapsed state so for example if you expand the bookmark list it will be also expanded when you restart the app.

Option to disable the Green tick 'operation status complete'
I think it would be useful if there was an option to disable the Green tick that slides....I prefer the use of Android-system toast notification instead.
