Operation status indicators are way too obstructive and sometimes get stuck.
For example, when I'm doing any copy-paste operation.
Case 1 -
After paste is done, the checkmark in giant green rectangle appears at the bottom corner. Usually it says there for 2-3 seconds (which is 2 seconds too many). But sometimes, it gets stuck there and doesn't go away even if I navigate to other folders etc. I have to exit the app and reopen to make it go away.
Case 2 -
If I cancel the paste operation, a cancelled "Operation information" page opens; with a giant red banner at top. This page totally unnecessary IMO. When I cancel an operation, just cancel it. This info page is only getting in the way and slowing me down.
Better operation window will be available in the next update. Thanks for your feedback.
The bugs you reported here should be fixed now. As of the operation window appearance here is an interesting idea: https://plus.google.com/114584740769249987593/posts/7T8rL3KjW7u
Personally, I didn't see anything wrong here because the window can be minimized, but as of the big rectangle covering the fab you are right. I'll try to make something better but it will take some time.
I still don't know how to do, but I know that these huge green/red rectangle is sooo ugly. Isn't possible to use FAB to display all these status information? Current indicator overlaps the FAB, so it shouldn't be a problem but it will definitely look better.
It can be even made not ba adding some functionality to the FAB but by changing the shape, and animation of the indicator in the way that it will make an impression that status is displayed by/"in" the FAB.
@Ricardo Varela sometimes it cant be slide out. Than you must restart the app.

If it gets stucked you can put that out with a slide.

Agree...Status operations result should be more like GMAIL app status indicator (inside green square at the bottom of the page)
The "preparing" and "connecting" circle could improved for a better look.
There are also some overlapping issues. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2fisqzkkate7tgx/Screenshot_2014-12-24-08-29-32.png?dl=0
