  3. Picture thumbnails inside archives (ZIP, RAR, ...)

    Is it normal that with SE 2.1.7 the thumbnails of JPEG files inside an archive (e.g. ZIP or RAR) are not shown?

    I remember that SE 1.0 (classic) did that, but I don't find any setting for enable/disable this feature.

  4. Support TLS session resumption

    On my FTP server, using explicit FTP over TLS, if the option "Require TLS session resumption on data conection when using PROT P" is enabled, Solid Explorer fails with "There was a problem with SSL communication". If that option is disabled, everything works.

    Using FileZilla Server 0.9.59.

  9. Enhanced Mouse, Keyboard, Dpad, support

    SE 2.0 already has standard support for my connected Bluetooth mouse and keyboard (as does any up-to-date Android app)

    What I am mostly requesting here is that Solid Explorer should recognise such things as:

    = mouse-wheel scrolling for the SE image viewer

    = spacebar on a keyboard

    = pressing DEL on a keyboard to delete file/folder items

    .... And much more which Android allows a developer to configure. Sadly Android does not (yet) recognise mouse middle-click.

    I use Solid Explorer on a big TV screen with my 4k compatible Android media player (MINIX Neo x8-h Plus)

    Why it is slow moving file within sdcard itself?

    If I'm using stock "My Files", it takes less than a second

  11. Statusbar notification on USB OTG mounted

    Please provide the OPTION (not mandatory) to have a "permanent" statusbar notification when a USB OTG device is mounted, with an option (button) in the notification itself to "Explore" it (open the root dir of the USB device on the Solid Explorer app) and another button to "Unmount" it. This notification and its buttons that I'm suggesting are similar to that of gmail app when you get a new email and there's a button in the same notification to "Reply" or "Archive".

    This would greatly improve my experience as a user, since it would provide me this valuable shortcuts while…

  12. Clear search history

    There is currently no way to clear the search history within the app. I find it annoying to have search suggestions that are old and irrelevant but not being able to clear them.

    This feature would be useful for both removing individual search terms and also clearing everything.

    An option to turn off search history would be a nice addition too.

  13. Fix SMB or refund your customers.

    The SMB implementation in SE is unusably broken. Previously no configuration allowed for connecting to a Linux PC in under 20 seconds, like every other file manager for Android I've ever tried (actually they do it in ~1 second). Now, it refuses to connect at all -- "A problem occurred with the network communication."

    These issues have been raised and upvoted near 1000 times over a year or two ago and nothing has changed. I'm sick of this piece of shit not working and I regret paying for it when a dozen free apps work better. Fix it or I'm…

  14. Delete Confirmation Dialog

    What you think about making delete confirmation dialog more immediate/convenient?

    I really like how QuickPic's developer implemented it, not so long ago, and I propose to implement the same in Solid Explorer. Take a look: https://youtu.be/ONobMh-nXWE

    I feel like it is interrupting/not smooth as it is now - when you hit "Delete" then you have to select "Delete" again from the center of the screen.

    What do you think? Do you use QuickPic and how did you like its relatively new delete confirmation dialog?

    You should absolutely have moved the todays EXIT option from the slide-in menu, to the action menu in the main window.
    Like it is today it way to backwards to exit the app fast

  19. The 'Open with' dialog could also show last TWO choices

    Hi, currently by appropriate design only the 'Share' dialog shows the last two application choices.

    I am requesting that the 'Open with' dialog shows the last two choices too which is especially useful for power users like me that have multiple media and office apps to handle a file. Please.

  20. Compare 2 hashes when multi-selecting > properties

    Today I went to compare 2 song files to see why one was corrupted. I was able to go to properties while multi selecting them. it provided awesome merged properties info, however I was unable to find the hash comparer when selecting 2 files.
    I had to select each song and go to properties individually and copy /paste the hashes to compare.
    my request is that when multi selecting, then go to properties, the hash comparer is available to tell me if the files I've multi selected are identical.
