Slow moving file within sdcard

Why it is slow moving file within sdcard itself?

If I'm using stock "My Files", it takes less than a second

Samsung Galaxy s 7, Android 6.0.1

    Same problem here. Sony Xperia Z2. Shouldn't take even a second to move files within the same storage.

    Same problem here too.
    This happens when cut the files from external SD and paste to another directory on the same external SD.
    Solid explorer copy and delete the files instead of just move them.
