  1. scanning library of media files

    when you come into application should be scanning library of media files. The problem: I removed the video file, and solid explorer shows that the file is still on your device. The display size of the folder where the video was (which I removed) has not changed.

  2. Error sharing files from SMB

    When selecting a file from SMB, the following error occurs:
    Error
    You can pick only local files. Download it first and select again.

    This occurs while trying to share from SMB. For example, when I try and attach a picture to a text message, I choose Solid Explorer to navigate to my picture folder on my server and then get this error.

  3. Chromecast

    Chromecast option working fine first time after plug-in installation, then does nothing. (Xperia Z3 Compact Android 5.1.1)

    I really loved the Chromecast functionality for playing back locally stored music (usually kids' stuff) an I'd really love to get it back. Is there anything I can do to help?

  4. Support for multiple USB partitions from stickmount

    Right now I can only access one of the partitions on my flash drive, even though both are mounted with stickmount

    I've unable to find a way to search for
    "all files of size >= <any_value_here>"
    There is only predefined intervals

  6. Solid icon to be in different colors in themes section to match the theme

    Solid can bring different color icons to match themes. See the attached screen. Icon does not match the dark theme.

  7. Add "white" as accent color

    I'd like to see white as an accent color. The current ones don't go well with most of the "main" colors.

  8. Support for 'Date Taken' sorting option

    Support for sorting by 'Date Taken' in the SE "view options>sort mode" would be great.

    It would be excellent for date sorting accuracy for use with Image files that have the embedded 'date taken' information contained within the image file.

    QuickPic has this same feature in it's gallery app.

    I think this can be best implemented into SE by simply adding a tap+hold function onto the existing 'Date' sort option. So a user could tap+hold on 'Date' to be presented with two options of: Date Taken and Date Modified

    On May 1. the service is shutted down.

    In fact this could be extended to other options as well, e.g. List of folders/files.

  12. Bookmarks of predefined pairs of left/right folder panels, flick vertically between pairs to emulate mutiple Solid Explorer sessions

    I do REALLY appreciate the addition of background session, so that I can use either the left or right panel for a different folder and then pop back to what I was doing before. Of course then, people are going to always want more, right?

    On one of your competitors, one can flick horizontally between perhaps seven or more folder panels, but this honestly gets confusing, and can gobble up a lot of RAM as well.

    What I would suggest is that you allow us to define bookmarks to pairs of left/right folders -- since I, at least, find that…

  13. connect to FTP directly...

    Solid Explorer in the "open with..." dialogue
    when produce a FTP connection via "Fing" or "Net Analyzer" to connect the FTP Server directly like "AndFTP".

  14. Multiple audio files total length

    If you choose one audio file and see properties, it shows length, but for several files, it doesn't show(even though it logically should and on e.g. windows it does)

  15. problem is SMB(FAT32)

    SMB share do not works in FAT32 disks. Copies cant be done(access denied). No problems in NTFS.

    I tested many times with 4 disks. All copies was failed in FAT32 and done in NTFS.

  17. buy without google account?

    Is there any way of purchasing this product without using the google privacy terrorist store? I really like the product, and I could probably get some cracked version somewhere, but I don't want to.
    Hust need an APK file. How long is the trial period anyway. Couldn't find that.

  19. change new sd card but no permission to write or move to this external sd

    I use galaxy S7 and used external SD card. it was ok to copy and write.

    yesterday I changed new sd card. and then Solid explorer can't do copy.

    So I delete it and install new. but still can't do it.

    the time new intall, 2times of permission required. and I did it.
    but when make copy, it said can't find before sd card number.
    (this phone makes random number to sd card. and new sd card has another number now.)

    Just Solid try to find before number of sd card again and again.
    and can't do copy or move…

    as other users said...when i watch films with es videocast, i cannot add subtitles or change language....that would be great! it is a MUST for a better videocast :)
