Bookmarks of predefined pairs of left/right folder panels, flick vertically between pairs to emulate mutiple Solid Explorer sessions
I do REALLY appreciate the addition of background session, so that I can use either the left or right panel for a different folder and then pop back to what I was doing before. Of course then, people are going to always want more, right?
On one of your competitors, one can flick horizontally between perhaps seven or more folder panels, but this honestly gets confusing, and can gobble up a lot of RAM as well.
What I would suggest is that you allow us to define bookmarks to pairs of left/right folders -- since I, at least, find that I usually end up setting up pairs of folders for different functions ... such as moving files to/from my laptop or Google Drive, or else working in parallel with related files on my Android's internal memory an my SD card, or just sorting through and categorizing a bunch of photos.
Given bookmarks to predefiend pairs of left/right folder panels, it would be intuitive to be able to flick up/down between active folder panel pairs, and thus emulate multiple simultaneous Solid Explorer sessions. (I suppose then it could be possible to copy or move files/folders by dragging between adjacent folder panels.)
You've made it really nice to be able to move or copy files by dragging them from pane to pane. While what I REALLY want is something like WIndows FIle Explorer on my Android device -- and in fact, I often end up running multiple separate File Explorers on my laptop to work with my Android file systems over SAMBA or FTP, when I have complex tasks to accomplish. I think the ehancement to Solid Explorer I am proposing here would make using multiple file explorer sessions on Android quite manageable and producive.
Solid Explorer is in many ways far superior to Windows File Explorer. I appreciate how you have kept evoiving Solid Explorer and doing so in a manner which keeps its simple to use but magnifies its power without throwing in the kitchen sink. I think my suggestion is in line with that design philosophy/
