Option to turn off image previews in the 'Folder Properties' view
Please provide an option to turn off image previews in the Properties window.
I opened Properties for my top-level storage folder, and it started displaying images I wouldn't want other people to accidentally see! (I won't go into more detail...)

The 'Rename' should be on the toolbar for faster access
I support moving the 'Rename' menu item from the overflow menu and place it on the toolbar next to the 'copy' and 'delete' buttons.
Also this could open the future door to Solid Explorer's first 'Batch Renamer' function:

Cast Plugin Compatibility
Probably planned already, but I'd like to be able to cast files from SE 2.0, either via plugin app (which I'm not a fan) or built in functionality

Problems with zoom
The zoom function has some problems: It's extremely laggy and when I restart the app I always have to zoom again.

.apk extraction
add option to extract .apk files of installed apps, like FX File Explorer, but with the option to "select all" apps and then extract them to a specific folder

Add support for NOMEDIA creation in the overflow menu (toggle on or off)
Creation of NOMEDIA should be a relatively straightforward implementation and I can understand why the developer, Mr Głodowski, delayed on adding it to SE 1.6x because of where to fit in that previous UI.
Just a simple way to create a .NOMEDIA file is just this request....The top-right overflow menu would be the best place to put this menu item IMO where it's less obvious to accidentally toggle it

Hide files and folders for Solid eyes only
I'd like to be able to toggle the visibility of a folder or file within Solid Explorer only, like the app MiXplorer does. Basically you can select files and folders and toggle a hidden/visible status or metadata that will make Solid Explorer not display them just as if they had a "." in front of their name, and if you need to manipulate them you would select a "show hidden files" option within the app

Attribute editing for mutliple files
So currently you can hit properties on 1 file and update the permissions/attributes, but it would be nice if you can do it for multiple files. It only makes sense to allow bulk editing. I have to use the CM file manager to accomplish this currently.

Multiselection
When using Solid Explorer as filepicker, for example attaching files in email, selecting files for upload etc etc, would be excellent to be able to have MULTISELECTION.
Almost all new/updated filemanagers has this option today (ex. Amaze Filemanager, AnExplorer, MiXplorer,KK Explorer) and makes it sad that when using Solid Explorer you have to install one other filemanager to have this option.20 votesThis functionality will be available in the next beta update. Can interaction with folders/any file from properties section b added?
It's quite annoying with you are viewing a folder's properties and hind that u need to edit, share it do anything with that files right away at that screen; at that moment
Hence I request this feature

Unmount a USB device (safely remove)
Ability to Unmount a USB device.
This is already suppoted in the Android system settings under "storage"
I am unsure if this feature may require a Root support.
However it would be fantastic to be able safely remove a USB device just by long-pressing in the desired usb within the left-swipe menu

version of apk during manuall installation
can we get version info during install apk manually ... i found this nice idea in one app till now ... i mean as example i installed your solid apk surly version as example v1 and after some dayes you give us new update v2 then during install the new update v2 we need to know version of previous one if possible ...hope you understood what i mean ...the only app i found this nice idea is es file explorer

Two Column View Like Old Detailed Grid
Could we get an option to reduce unneeded whitespace while keeping extra info visible, unlike the current grid view? Something like the old two column detailed grid view would be a nice for keeping info visible on larger screen devices without wasting space.

Share menu as a pop-up (bottom of screen)
As another idea for a better way to display the list of installed apps for SE to 'Share' to, may I now suggest a slide-in method that would pop up from the bottom of the screen and displays the listed apps in a grid view.
Youtube and Shazam do this for their latest versions on Android.
Especially the Youtube 'share' menu seems to display the most/last used apps above a separator at the top of the list.
The Youtube 'share' menu also features it's own "copy url" action within the same 'share' menu....
....So perhaps SE 2.0 could also use…

'New Cloud' button in the Remote Storage Manager view
The button to add new cloud connection should be also in the Store Manager view. In my opinion it will be more intuitive.

Single column detailed list view on tablets
One of the recent betas started to show folder contents in detailed list mode as two columns on my tablet. Such representation is inconvenient for me. Could you, please, add an option to force the list to be displayed as a single column?
I know that this can be a huge waste of space on a big screen, but i prefer it that way. My brain is not good at performing such a two-dimensional scan :) .

Backup (import/export) features for all appsettings
Hello, I would be very happy if it was possible to add a backup function settings , cloud services , network services (SMB) , user interface , etc.
With the ability to import and export settings , in case you would need to do a factory reset on their device , so you do not have to enter all program settings again.
Of course it would be great if you could encrypt the data with a password if you so desire.9 votes -
Used and free space like in Windows
Can you please improve displaying storage usage? It would be great to make it like in Windows: progressbar with % shows used space, but underneath it free space is showing.
