  1. Automatic download from cloud when try to sharing from 3rd app or attaching on a mail

    you can enable automatic download when I try to attach a file to an email that is in the cloud, without having to go out to save the file into memory and then attach?

  2. Consider adding 8dp/16dp margin top to the main RecyclerView container. The absence of that padding make it looks ugly on tablets.

  5. Prevent sleep during a long copy operation

    Is there a way to keep the phone awake while copying a large folder over a relatively slow connection?

  6. Adding tags to files and folders for easy search

    The index search is great but I think the ability to add tags to files and folders would be great. Lets say you're looking for a document related to physics, but has a different name. Well by writing out "physics" we can see everything related to that custom category we've created. We see anything we've added that tag to (Word documents, Excel, PDF, folders, etc.)

  7. OpenSSH: Accept new key format

    Recent versions of OpenSSH create SSH keys in a new format. You can identify the new format when looking at the key and it starts with "BEGIN OPENSSH PRIVATE KEY" and not "BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY". Solid Explorer doesn't accept these private keys for SSH connections, so one must convert them to the old RSA PRIVATE KEY format.

    It would be nice if Solidexplorer would accept these "new" keys out of the box.

  8. Is buying Reddit upvotes safe?

    My Reddit posts get very little traction. I’m thinking about buying upvotes to improve visibility, but I don’t want spam or bots. Any advice on safe methods?

  9. Hybrid Views Don't Work as Expected on Small Screens

    Not sure if intended behavior, but the hybrid views don't work on small screens, as the equivalent views did on 1.0. More accurately reproducing the behavior of 1.0 in the two column views would be useful.

  11. where am i thingy and notification bar

    please add an option to remove the navigation bar thingy giving me information of my history and current position and if you can please try to make the status bar more materialistic

  12. Ask master password to view/edit the root folder content

    It would be useful to have the possibility to set a password for root operations, to avoid undesired edits. I know there is already a PIN feature in SuperSU (pro), but it is asked only the first time by default.

  14. Allow installation on non-touchscreen devices

    I want to be able to install Solid Explorer on Android TV without side loading each update. Please allow support for non-touchscreen devices in the manifest so that Solid Explorer can be installed and updated on Android TV via the Play Store.

  15. include alpha transparency in color pickers

    or make the "dark" theme option consistent with system framework background for people with theming engine or who want their homescreen wallpaper as background. as shown in the screenshot. not everybody likes material design colors.

  16. Hide/Remove "USB Drive 1" from list of storages

    In the list of Storages in the side menu, I have:

    Root
    Internal Memory
    SD Card
    USB Drive 1

    However, when I tap on "USB Drive 1", it just takes me to the external SD Card - exactly the same as when I tap on "SD Card". It's a duplication of the same location.

    Therefore I'd like to be able to hide "USB Drive 1" from the list of Storages, so it's not visible at all. Otherwise it's taking up valuable space there.

    Perhaps the 3-dot menu next to the USB Drive 1 (which gives you "Unmount") can be moved…

  17. Info of a apk before installing it

    We need an info of a apk before installing it like es file explorer. it will show the apk size, version, etc when we tab on the apk file.
    We need this feature in solid.

  20. The drag and drop feature should be faster.

    You should not need to hover over a folder before you drop the file. There needs to be an option to default to either copy or to move. I don't want to see the dialog box; it holds things up.
