  1. Do not report the amount of files in child folders

    Don't report the amount of files in child folders with the "Show Folders Size" options.

    I've included screenshots to help explain what I mean. The screenshots also explain another suggestion I made.

  2. IPv6 Support

    Currently, Solid Explorer doesn’t support IPv6 at all. One cannot enter IPv6 addresses (they are deemed invalid) and connections to DNS names that resolve to IPv6 addresses fail (ACK replies from remote host are somehow ignored).

    Because the underlying Android architecture most likely supports IPv6, the required changes should be easy.

    On the other hand, if support for this isn’t coming, it should not try to connect to IPv6 addresses.

  3. SHA-256 checksum support

    MD5 and SHA-1 is already supported for checksum comparison but I occasionally encounter SHA-256 checksums. So it would be nice if it was also supported.

  4. Continuously play audio files?

    Apologies if this has been asked, or if i am just missing something, but is/can there be a way to play audio files continuously, without manually selecting the next track? As of right now, I have to pull my phone out of my pocket every time a song ends, and select the next one. This is my ONLY "problem". Love Solid Explorer!

  6. Thumbnails for Folders

    Allow folders to auto-generate thumbnails based on image or video content and/or allow the user to manually place a certain file to use as a folder thumbnail (similar to using folder.jpg in windows to force a certain thumbnail)

  9. How about giving a "Move to" option along with the cut and copy?

    The cut function removes attributes such as the original creation date. This is not really helpful for things such as photos that someone could have taken months back and would like to know the exact dates of creation after moving it to a different location. It's a very minor annoyance and I'll be extremely delighted if the developers give me this option.

  11. Option to remember cloud passwords

    add an option to remember cloud services' passwords to auto login when reinstalling Solid Explorer or installing it in a new device.. maybe backuping those info locally or in Google Drive

  12. Enable FTP over TLS

    From what I understand, SE is not configured to allow connecting to FTP servers over TLS (either implicit or explicit). It would be wonderful if this feature was added, as I imagine there may be other SE users who don't want to broadcast their FTP traffic in plaintext.

  14. SMB3?

    I have a few NAS that upon updating the firmware are now SMB3 only. Since solid explorer does not support SMB3, I will have to look elsewhere. Are you working on integrating in the app?

  15. Feature request for support of SAF — Storage Access Framework.

    I am using Island app, and for the installed apps in the Island user I need aometimes to excess the mainland data; which is without this feature is not possible.
    Thanks for making the wonderful app.

    Introduce multithreaded copy and paste to speed up such operations.
    Improve speed of opening large files and documents.
    Finally, polish up the text editor,,, it's a very important feature

    Let me begin by saying that I've been using Solid explorer since the original beta. I'm also a huge fan of material design. A few months ago when the first file manager came out with material design, I installed it right away. It looked good, great even, but half a minute in, while trying to do some basic copy paste type operation, it hit me just how poorly it functioned as a file manager. It was clunky and unintuitive.   20. Setting to completely hide Background sessions, Media, and Toolbox from the drawer

    While you can collapse them, they still take up a lot of space so it would be nice to be able to completely remove them from the drawer.
