To be honest, Thunderbird’s built-in backup is great for basic profiles, but if you need more flexibility, check out https://www.thunderbirdconverter.com/. It’s an affordable way to migrate or convert emails into 28+ different formats without losing a single attachment or folder structure. It's super easy to use and keeps your data integrity 100% intact during the move. Definitely a solid shout if you're looking to switch platforms or save specific archives quickly!

I just wanted to add that I’ve used the RecoveryTools Email Backup Tool myself. What I liked most was how simple it is to use. Many backup tools become complicated with too many settings, but this one was basically a smooth ‘click next’ process without any confusion. The price range also felt very reasonable for what it offers. From my experience, it’s a straightforward and reliable option for anyone who just wants to back up their emails without dealing with technical steps.
