Merging PST files can be a difficult task when managing Outlook data especially when you have multiple PST files from different sources or backup files.

Here’s the manual method to merge pst file
    Open Outlook.
    Create a New PST File:
Go to File > New > Outlook Data File.
Name and save the new PST file.
    Import PST Files:
    Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
Choose Import from another program or file and click Next.
Select Outlook Data File (.pst) and click Next.
Browse to the PST file you want to merge and click Next.
Choose Do not import duplicates and select the new PST file as the destination.
    Click Finish.
Repeat Import for Additional PST Files.
Verify Data in the new PST file.

By the following steps you can merge pst files but it has some drawbacks like a list of duplicates, Time-consuming, performance issues, and limited controls. Instead of using the manual method of pst merge. You should use the third-party software that is Shoviv PST Merge Tool in which the user can add multiple pst at one time, it's having an easier user interface to complete the pst merge process quickly. This software also provides a free demo for the first 50 items per folder for free.
