Yes it would be beneficial in deleting multiple selected bookmarks at once especially from a long list.

This has now been implemented since Solid Explorer 2.0 beta and is available in the side panel under 'Toolbox'

The only exception as that it does not display recent Folders.

Perhaps in future the menu item could be renamed to "Recent Items" so that it is inclusive of recently opened folders too.

As for now, this topic can be marked as Completed :) Thanks Krzysztof

    Or perhaps even better...

Pressing on 'Restore backup' in the Settings could display a prompt message telling the user to exit settings and locate ir search for the SEB backup file itself.

    Linked to this request: http://neatbytes.uservoice.com/forums/274528-solid-explorer-2-0/suggestions/8467600-opening-a-seb-backup-file-should-execute-the-resto

The same prompt message could advise the user on creating a Bookmark folder of where all backups can be kept.

The minimum of 1 and max of 7 had been thought up because to protect the Three-dots overflow menu from being over filled.

The mechanism would then work in a cycle order. So for example: if 'share' and 'Properties' were both added to the toolbar then that would mean these two would no longer appear on the three-dots menu unless they were removed from the toolbar during customization of toolbar. This keeps things logical.

    ----------------
Summary: So maximum 7 icons but minimum of 1 icon for the toolbar.

    Further to this,

Perhapd there might need to be a Light theme of icons (white) and a dark theme of icons (dark grey or black)

This is because of the existing Themes support in SE 2.0 beta and users would wany to avoid using the wrong set of icons and end up not seeing them on display haha :)

UPDATE: Combined two recent related ideas for the Settings combined into one, have a look at this new mock-up: http://i.imgur.com/NgnBIOQ.png

maybe so that one will not work without the other enabled first within the Settings.

This original idea, if agreed, voted for and implemented, should better aid the developer Krzysztof, in making SE stand out more from other Material Design file managers :)

Also i think that this settings interface could incorporate the Material Design "cards" look

Additionally some nice Drag and drop animation ehile dragging. Just ideas that coke to me.

    It would be amazing.

Think of Android notification panels and Android camera apps that allow customising of what icons get shown/display order

So Solid Explorer should treat the SEB file as an internal file that it recognizes and can handle.

This is because classic SE 1.6 fails to move files from Internal to SD card with normal cut and paste. Which I think is a limitation with the new Android 5.0 API (I might be wrong)

So a copy then delete auto method should help

I've changed my mind on what ivr said before.

And now that 'options' has brrn trnamrd to 'Folder options' it is noe much more clearer and makes sense

It's fine where it currently is IMO

Hi and thanks for making this request as I made a very similar request here - http://neatbytes.uservoice.com/forums/274528-solid-explorer-2-0/suggestions/6895949-please-rename-options-and-name-it-as-config

I fully agree this should be looked at by the developer because having an 'options' in the menu ia confusing to users between that of the MAIN settings

I think this would be fantastic for users like me who would prefer tabs on top...

All it is doing is modifiying the display (similar to 'Show sections' option) so that the Breadcrumb would show as a separate floating toolbar that auto disappears.

This is a consolidation of all 'panels as tabs' type requests that have been mentioned by others

    Please dear developer

    This request should be amended.

I now do not think that the Breadcrumb should be on tabs

I now supported an updated Tabs as Panels idea in the form of a 'Smart Breadcrummb' - http://neatbytes.uservoice.com/forums/274528-solid-explorer-2-0/suggestions/8030502-smart-breadcrumb-to-compliment-panels-shown-as-t

    -------
So please disregard that particular part of this topic post

    Additionally...

Users would be able to drag and drop files/folders between panels by dragging them to the tab to switch to that desired panel (tab). The existing classic SE behaviour of dragging to tje edge of the screen would still persist.

This tabbed interface request is targeted at phone screens in portrait orientation. I also think that there could be an option to use the same tabbed interface in a Landscape/tablet layout too (as an option).

The Breadcrumb path text could become finger draggable (left or right) in so that the text behaves similar to auto-scrolling text... I think that would be awesome too displayed on the tab.

No, don't have it on the FAB.

It would be better as an editable Toolbar, see this topic: http://neatbytes.uservoice.com/forums/274528-solid-explorer-2-0/suggestions/6999849-toolbar-flexible-both-bottom-or-top
