    The simplest and easiest way to remove duplicate items from Thunderbird is by using the official Remove Duplicate Messages add-on.

    Steps to Use the Add-on
    Install the Add-on:

    Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
    Go to Tools and select Add-ons and Themes (or press Ctrl+Shift+A).
    In the Add-ons Manager tab, search for "Remove Duplicate Messages".
    Click the extension in the results and select Add to Thunderbird (or Install).
    Once installed, you may be prompted to Restart Now to complete the installation.

    Run the Duplicate Check:

    After Thunderbird restarts, go back to your main account section.
    Right-click on the folder (e.g., Inbox, Sent, or any other mail folder) where you want to check for duplicates.
    In the context menu, select Remove Duplicate Messages.
    A window will pop up. If no duplicates are found, it will tell you.

    Export data from Windows Live Mail to Outlook with EML File Converter. Save emails in *.pst format with the attachments. Switch the emails and other data from the Windows Live Mail account to PST format. After conversion, migrate the files to a Microsoft Outlook account.
