That is by design. Once you scroll down, the FAB is supposed to disappear. To bring it back, just scroll up. Note - you will need to scroll, not just swipe.

The only sensible use cases are file delete and move. File delete can’t be undone until I implement recycle bin. File move can be undone easily, but only if a single file or folder was moved in the same partition. Other cases are too complex and require another file operation to perform.

Can I oppose an idea? Solid Explorer is a solid file browser. Don't over-complicate it with adding shit-load of "features". App management is a totally different category.
