  1. controls buttons when selected files (cut, copy, delete) at the bottom

    change a location of control buttons (cut, copy, delete) because the fingers do not reach the upper edge

  2. Ask master password to view/edit the root folder content

    It would be useful to have the possibility to set a password for root operations, to avoid undesired edits. I know there is already a PIN feature in SuperSU (pro), but it is asked only the first time by default.

  3. Make navigation drawer contents adjustable

    I want to be able to complete remove certain things from the nav drawer, such as collections, toollbox, and the background stuff(forgot what it's called). Basically I only use bookmarks and storages and want to be able to completely remove the other items from the drawer.

  4. Restore backup - needs to use that exact same 'Mini tree' folder picker

    When I click on 'Restore backup' from the Settings window I am then taken back into the SE file manager as a user process to locate the backup file (.SEB)

    This implementation of Restore Backup is wrong for these reasons:

    1.) It confuses a user into thinking that the 'restore backup' is not working in a bug like state while defaulting back to the file manager view.

    2.) Other files are not omitted from being shown when navigating for the backup file.

    3.) There is no way to cancel the 'Restore backup' during navigation except to fully exit the app.

  5. Option to Rename Solid Explorer

    Solid Explorer gets listed on the last page of my app drawer, because it starts with an S. Can you please add an option to Rename Solid Explorer to only Explorer or File Manager or File Explorer?

  6. Allow alternative connection route to a host

    I`ve got this idea from a amazing IPCAM viewer android app:

    Any webdav / ftp / sftp connection could have an OPTIONAL field called "Local Host Name" where, if used, would make the connection first be tried from it`s internal network IP, instead of name. If that IP is not reachable, THEN connect using the Remote Host Name.

    The benefits:
    1. You won`t have to create 2 connections (for each server) if you access your SFTP (or FTP or WEBDAV) from both your internal network and internet. That also means your servers list will be less cluttered.

    Showing the size of a file/folder when deleting. It helps in knowing whether a folder contains any data.

  9. Display status bar with information on the current file selection

    The old Solid Explorer had a small status bar with information on the current selection (number of files, total file size). This is essential for a file explorer's main purpose: file operations. I know there's an information tab that I can call from the menu, but that is a cumbersome detour. I really need this information often an immediate while moving files around. I cannot imagine any useful file explorer without this.
    Please add this information (to the space wasting header area maybe?)

  11. View mode by pinch-to-zoom

    Please add ability to automatically switch view mode to list->grid->gallery(and back) by pinch-to-zoom gesture when max(min) size for current view mode is reached

    Could you please add to App Viewer button to find application in Google Play.
    for example:

  13. Incorrect size of large NAS?

    The size of my Synology NAS, that is 5,36 TB, is displayed as 1,36 TB ...

    I assume this is caused by a flaw in SE ...?

  17. Move "Options" contents to settings

    I don't understand why there are seperate "options" (in the overflow menu) and "settings" (extra activity accessible from the navigation drawer). I know that from the overflow menu, it is faster to access but I think that most items won't be changed that often because they are a thing of personal preference.

    • Show hidden files
    • Folders first
    • Remember last folder
    • Show folders size
    • Show sections

    Instead, I'd move all the items to the settings activity and remove the overflow item completely.

  18. Hide action bar instead of path bar

    I think that the action bar (or is it called toolbar now?) should be hidden instead of the path bar when the user scrolls down. Similar to My Apps screen in Google Play. Or at least add an option to make the path bar persistent.

  19. Remove "Close file system" confirmation dialog

    Is the "Are you sure you want to close this file system?" dialog really necessary?

    When I click the overflow button and choose Close, why I would need to confirm the action? I think it slows down without any real advantage: maybe with the online services, but anyway you can always reopen the folder from the bookmarks I think.
