Pasted items should remain highlighted after being pasted
I think just as an option only.
Pasted file/folder items should remain highlighted (whatever view mode) so that user can see what has bren pasted.
This is how Windows Explorer and Windoes based 3rd party file manager's do it.
I think this feature should be optional

How about a small red material style icon in a corner of the pasted item with the word "New" in it?

Better if it was temporary highlighted for like a few seconds before highlight disappears :) Seems smart.
