Transfer Comcast Email to Yahoo Mail With Attachments
Looking to move your Comcast emails to Yahoo Mail? Many users make the switch for better accessibility, but the biggest challenge is transferring old emails without losing important data. While the manual methods can be a bit technical and time-consuming, an automated solution makes the process much easier. To help you out, here’s a quick guide with all three approaches:
- Manual Transfer via Yahoo Mail Import
Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account → go to Settings → More Settings.
Open Mailboxes → click Add mailbox.
Select Other Email Account and enter your Comcast email + password.
Authorize access, and your Comcast emails (and contacts) will start syncing automatically.
Note: This may take longer for large mailboxes or won’t work if the Comcast account is inactive.
- Manual Transfer via Comcast Email Forwarding
Log in to your Comcast (Xfinity) email account.
Go to Settings → Email Settings → Auto Forward/Email Forwarding.
Enter your Yahoo address as the forwarding destination.
Save changes to forward all new incoming emails.
Note: Old messages won’t be transferred with this method.
- Automated Transfer with IMAP Backup Tool (Recommended)
Download & install the Migrate Cloud Data IMAP Backup Tool.
Log in using your Comcast credentials.
Choose the folders you want to migrate.
Select Yahoo Mail as the destination and log in.
Apply filters (optional), then click Convert.
Your emails, attachments, and folder structure will be transferred smoothly—without duplicates or errors.
