don't add a way to recover password for encrypted containers. Encrypted containers should be the most secured environment in your unit.

I have the same problem, I recognize my fingerprint but ask for a password, I have contacted the developer but there is no response and I see that it has been posted on this site for a long time and it is not resolved. Too bad! In my case they are photos of my children of which I have no copy.

I need to recover my files. I forgot my password, the fingerprint is ok. How can i?. Plz!!!!!!!!!

In my case, my niece got a hold of my phone and encrypted some folders with pretty important files. Recovery through finger print or master password of some sort would be great.

I wish I could vote down this idea. An encrypted PW recovery should NEVER be an option. The whole point is that you and only you know the password and hopefully you wrote that down or saved it in a PW manager just in case. If you forget/lose that PW and can reset it, there was no point in encrypting it in the first place.

Also password recovery option would be great addition

I have same issue, finger print working but its still asking for password.. which I forgot....need to be able to access with just finger print.

I have the same problem, but fingerprint had always worked until now. Maybe it's a bug?
