SE Video Cast / Player
While trying to play a video I found that SE Video Cast is not playing a video and it shows error that 'No chromecast available' , though when audio was tried it did played it without showing it in notification (for controls).

SE Video Cast doesn't play videos on phone. Use VLC Player.

After casting solid explorer crashes with the latest update which says Chromecast bugs fixed.

I have this problem, too. Timo's solution didn't work for me.

For me it helps if I first connect to the device via the screen mirroring feature (Setting > Display > Cast). Then SE finds the device. (Moto G 3rd/ 6.0 / 1st Gen Chromecast)
