  2. Cannot delete music files directly

    Under \Music\, you can't delete any files from there directly: there is no trash bin icon.

    However, you can cut those files into a different folder (say, download) and then proceed to delete without problem.

  3. SE crashes when selecting text using built in text editor

    Solid Explorer crashes when I select any text in a text file using the built in text editor.

    Also, I see that while editing text using the built in editor there is no swipe option enabled on my keyboard.

  5. option to set default character encoding for archives

    Its really annoying to every time select "UTF-8" mannually when opening archive which has russian symbols. (if archive contains mostly english file names and only some russian, SE doesnt choses correct encoding automatically, and russian becomes like "?????" ). And those archives I used were created with SE.

  6. Samsung S8+ with Android 8.0.0: 'Unknown Error' attempting to access Google Drive

    I have a Samsung S8+ and recently updated to Android 8.0.0. I don't know if it's related, but I now can't access the existing Google Drive storage I had set up previously through Solid Explorer. Solid Explorer still shows it under the Storages section, and shows me how much space I have and have used/free, but selecting it immediately gives me an 'Unknown error' prompt with cancel and retry options; retry just brings the unknown error prompt up again, and cancel is as helpful as you'd expect.

  7. Icon on files which has an app set as default to open with

    Similar to how it works on Windows PCs. For example (see sceenshot)
    - for .png files I've choosen to use QuickPic as default: icon appears in thumb corner
    - for .Skedio files I've choosen Skedio app as default: Skedio icon appears inside circle

    Ability to share FTP address via a QR code. Just needs to display the QR Code. Scanning can be done via a 3rd party app.

  9. Unable to pay for full version [Kindle Fire 5th gen Tablet]

    I am trying to install full version on my Father's tablet.

    While downloading the trial version of solidexplorer I had used a throwaway ID (bnjhgv2@gmail.com) in playstore. Now I changed all google logins in android to the real ID (k******gal@gmail.com).

    While trying to pay, the payment page is still displaying OLD THROAWAY google ID (bnjhgv2@gmail.com)

    I have completely uninstalled the app and installed again and yet payment page it is NOT showing real ID.
    Is there a way to change the id appearing on payment page to k******al@gmail from bnjhgv2@gmail?

  10. Customizable "quick actions"

    I realised many of my actions within Solid Explorer consist of moving files, most of the time, from/to the same folder.

    I would therefore appreciate to see some sort of customizable "quick actions", showing on the contextual menu of the action bar when long-pressing a file/folder.

    Something like "Move to the xxx folder", "Copy to the xxx" folder".

    That could also be extended to some other actions that I don't have in mind yet.

  11. Fail to Copy some files (*.dwg, *.epub, *.fb2) from webdav

    Hello!

    when trying to copy some files (*.dwg, *.epub, *.fb2) from storage connected via webdav (https IIS windows server 2012), the process is interrupted with an error! If you copy this files through the computer from the folder connected via webdav, then everything is fine ...

    any other files (doc, xls, jpg etc.) are copied and opened without problems ...

    I like your application and it will be great if you can help me!

  12. ANIMATIONS ARE SCREWED

    Ever since after 2.5.4 dragging a file folder animation is screwed . Folder disappears when being dragged.
    On 6.01 at least. Reported in Nov for 2.5.7 now 2.6.3 it is still a problem.

    I have to revert to 2.5.4

    Why don't you bother to fix anything anymore??

  13. Storages are not restored from backup

    My storages are not restored from a backup. I made a backup of my config in my old phone, I restored it in my new phone and my storages are gone. I've tried it many times and I always have the same problem.

    I've googled for an answer and I can't find any. The version is the latest one in Google Play Store as of today (April 8th, 2019).

    Am I doing anything wrong?

  16. to be able to view two images side-by-side in landscape mode

    Being able to view two images side-by-side in landscape mode would be so helpful. The application already allows two explorers side-by-side on landscape mode so being able to view one images brought up from each explorer would be feel very natural and would be tremendously helpful

    Support active charset setting through "OPTS" FTP command.

    Currently, Solid Explorer support select various charset in storage setting for ftp server. But, it's just passive charset setting (not requesting charset to server, only setting about which charset using for interpreting received file list from server)

    This method is well this method well functions in many ftp servers without ftp server on IIS (on windows system). Most IIS FTP server in non-English area response file list with local charset like EUC-KR, Shift-JIS. And this cause problem that files named with CJK characters don't displayed correctly and most file operation cannot be…

  19. Fix FTP engine file corruption

    Since installing the 2.7.14 update to Solid Explorer I have found after some exhaustive investigation that files I download from Solid Explorer via FTP (using Filezilla) are getting corrupted. If I choose to upload them to GDrive the issue does not occur.

    Example is attached.

    Have logged both a bug report and support request but nothing :-(
