  1. Better Archiving

    Make archiving more easy to edit such as deleting file inside and automatically re archiving instead manually. Like X-plore did

  2. add folder color to differentiate from other folders in "folder option"

    add folder color to differentiate from other folders in "folder option"...it means can apply different color to selected folder in folder list for early find from long list.

  4. mkv corruption when moved (external OTG HD)

    everythime I MOVE an mkv file it gets corrupted, scenario goes like this

    plug OTG HD
    open solid explorer
    create Folder2 inside Folder1
    move mkvfile1.mkv from Folder1 to Folder2
    try to open mkvfile.mkv in BS player > get Error
    try to open mkvfile.mkv in vlc > get Error
    unplug OTG HD
    plug HD to Sony TV
    try to open mkvfile.mkv > get Error

    NOTE> I can rename the mkv files without corrupting the files

    Do to Security Reasons SMBv1 is deactivatet in many Microsoft Network Enviroments. In this case Support of SMBv2/v3 is mandatory!

  6. The drag and drop feature should be faster.

    You should not need to hover over a folder before you drop the file. There needs to be an option to default to either copy or to move. I don't want to see the dialog box; it holds things up.

  7. Low download speed (sftp & smb) on fast network and fast device

    I use SE (paid) for long time and was always happy with its features. However there is one problem I can't live with: download speed. I use SE on two devices (smartphone and tablet). Both are relatively fast, LTE enabled. When I use SE to access my server the download speed varies between 40 and 60 kbps on both devices. At the same time and place the same device can download at 20 Mbps using other apps. I've tested both sftp and smb protocols, LTE and WiFi, internal storage and sd card, with same results.   12. Onedrive does not stream to vlc

    Streaming videos (tested with mp4 and mkv, may also include others) from onedrive to vlc causes the app to open and just have the loading pylon cycle indefinitely.

    Streaming mp4 from onedrive to the google photos app does work however mkv does not (probably due to google photos not supporting mkv?)

    Opening mp4 and mkv files stored locally with vlc from within solid explorer works fine.

  13. Language

    I use android 7. My system language is Turkish. When I try to login my nas device with admin account, it changes to capital letters and it becomes "ADMİN" and I can not login because it doesn't recognise the user name. Same thing happens also with public folder, it tries to see under "PUBLİC" folder. App says "Folder could not be found"

    So as a coclussion app should be able to work in English independently from the system language.

    You can try the scenario and you will see what I mean.

  14. Incorporate Nextcloud option

    Hi,

    Considering ownCloud has reached it's developing limits and the majority of users are migrating to Nextcloud platform (fork of ownlcloud), I kindly ask you to incorporate this cloud solution into the list of available connections in Solid Explorer.

  17. Continuously play audio files?

    Apologies if this has been asked, or if i am just missing something, but is/can there be a way to play audio files continuously, without manually selecting the next track? As of right now, I have to pull my phone out of my pocket every time a song ends, and select the next one. This is my ONLY "problem". Love Solid Explorer!

  18. ftp server not working while tethering on galaxy s8

    I can't make it to work on galaxy s8 while I'm on tethering. On galaxy s6 is working perfect.

  19. Can't launch VLC for MP4 files recently

    When browsing video files on a network share, I used to be able to tap them and then choose VLC from the "open with" list and stream them over the network.

    Recently, however, something has changed. When I try to view MP4 files I don't get the option to view them in VLC any more. When I tested with different video file types, I found that WMV files launch in VLC without the list being offered, AVI files show the list including VLC and a couple other options, but MP4 and MKV files only offer "Photos" and a streaming option…
