  1. scanning library of media files

    when you come into application should be scanning library of media files. The problem: I removed the video file, and solid explorer shows that the file is still on your device. The display size of the folder where the video was (which I removed) has not changed.

    Easily to find latest downloaded files or saved files, without wasting time, looking around all other locations.

  3. Compare 2 hashes when multi-selecting > properties

    Today I went to compare 2 song files to see why one was corrupted. I was able to go to properties while multi selecting them. it provided awesome merged properties info, however I was unable to find the hash comparer when selecting 2 files.
    I had to select each song and go to properties individually and copy /paste the hashes to compare.
    my request is that when multi selecting, then go to properties, the hash comparer is available to tell me if the files I've multi selected are identical.

  4. Licensing for paid app. Single device or multiple devices?

    I paid for this device thinking i could use on my phone and tablet. Is the payment for the app for a single device or can i use it on 2 or more devices?

  8. Make a photo/video viewer independant of Solid

    I love your photo and video viewer that is part of the Solid app, however, it's cumbersome to get to and exit out of just to view photos.

    I would buy another app from you just for the media viewer. Also, it could use a slideshow mode.

  9. Support for unnamed SFTP keys?

    I had a problem connecting with my SFTP server, I realized that my problem stemmed from my key not having a file extension and needing to end in '.key', whereas it assumed it was '.txt'. Would it be possible for a key without a file extension to be assumed to end in '.key'? This problem only arose due to the default Cygwin keygen generating private keys without an extension.

  14. Transition Tweaks

    So everything is fine about Solid Explorer except the transition speed when you're going back one level from current directory. It is much slower compared to when you're entering a folder.

  15. Can't connect to FTP

    I can't connect to my FTP server. I'm not sure if Solid Explorer has a limitation that is not compatible with my server configuration.

    I connect using a DDNS name and a non-standard port (Not port 21). My server also requires TLS.

  18. Navigate back by swiping left to right, like Dropbox

    Navigation through the folder hierarchy is so easy in Dropbox. Every time you want to go back, you can just swipe anywhere from left to right, there is a card like animation and you go back to the previous folder.

    I'd really like this feature to be implemented in Solid Explorer.

  19. Adding system metrics in default pannel view

    It would be great to get an addon to allow us to see system metrics view showing cpu, network, storage and other system/file parameters as well as be able to select this screen as the default pannel view. I will that this will really clean up the look of Solid when it is started. Ofcourse this option should be optional not mandatory...
