  1. Deleting files not freeing up space

    Hi

    When I delete a file, my available space isn't updated. I'm using a Oneplus 3T on nougat.

    Is there a recycle bin? I can't seem to find it.

  2. Tasker integration

    Tasker integration. It would be great to have an option to run tasks from the current browsing directory from solid explorer and open an specific storage location from tasker.

  3. To make it even more attractive (fixes and suggestions)

    It would be just perfect if you consider suggestions
    0) To fix slight BUG: when you tap on folder and then rapidly try to paste some files from buffer, the folder loads smoothly ( which is good, but) with a slisght delay and this paste goes to previous visited folder
    1) to make slide of side panel more smooth
    2) To show folder info in compact mode also
    3) to make more precise control of icon scaling in the interface. I like compact mode, but can't adjust desirable icon size for now.

  4. SFTP: Support password & 2FA

    I'm using a password and google-authenticator for SFTP on my Ubuntu server, which appears to be unsupported by Solid Explorer.

    It does work using Swish (http://www.swish-sftp.org) on Windows 10 to access the server via Windows Explorer.

  8. Corner shortcuts and fast move

    When selected and dragged to corners have some shortcuts like share, move, copy, delete and when placed over another folder move the selected files to that folder!

  10. Very slow at deleting (folders with) many files!

    Solid Explorer Classic and Solid Explorer 2.0 are very slow at deleting (folders with) many files. It varies between some seconds for just one file to round about 7 files per second - and this is way too slow for a modern file manager. Android's built-in file manager removes thousand of files within seconds.

    A quick Google research shows faster methods of deletion in Linux and a command like this should (maybe) solve the problem:

    find <path> -name * -delete

    Files will be instantly deleted instead of transferring them to rm at first.

  11. PowerAmp

    HTC 10 running Android 7.0 Nougat

    When opening music files, I only have the options of SE Music Player or Google Play Music. I use PowerAmp, but this option is not listed.

    I think this has only been an issue since upgrading phones, but has been discussed on the PowerAmp forums and determined to be more a bug on the part of Solid Explorer.

    Need to be able to choose preferred music app on Nougat.

  12. SHA-256 checksum support

    MD5 and SHA-1 is already supported for checksum comparison but I occasionally encounter SHA-256 checksums. So it would be nice if it was also supported.

    dbr.ee it's a very simple cloud and it doesn't have any official app yet, i use this file explorer like always, i will love the add of that cloud to the app,

  16. Reset SE Editor as default app for HTML files

    I accidentally hit "always" when opening a HTML file with the integrated SE Editor. Now that SE Editor is not listed under Setrings -> Apps I cannot reset its default setting.

    How do I reset the default app for HTML files?

    Allow user to specify filename for saved block of text, or at least have the default filename truncate at the first newline in the text instead of being so very, very long.

  19. Android Wear file transfer

    I would like to reopen this old idea as I have seen it was previously discarded. Adding access to an Android wear device to copy/move files between phone and watch is useful and can give us a few extra GB always available in our watch. Also, this can be useful to manage Google Play Music files and many others.

  20. Storage analyzer and hidden area

    Storage analyzer to view large files and provide easy option to move recycle bin or delete directly and hidden area to hide a folder, which should not be exposed in any other app/explorer even when we connected to our PC.
