    Let me begin by saying that I've been using Solid explorer since the original beta. I'm also a huge fan of material design. A few months ago when the first file manager came out with material design, I installed it right away. It looked good, great even, but half a minute in, while trying to do some basic copy paste type operation, it hit me just how poorly it functioned as a file manager. It was clunky and unintuitive.   2. Incorrect russian characters

    In Solid Explorer 2.0 same problem, as Solid Explorer 1.6
    When using stock Sony remote share (Settings -> Storage -> Remote shares) and connecting to SMB server solid explorer not showing russian characters and haven't access to folder or file named incorrectly in remote directory (/storage/remote/). Problem only on Android 5.0.2, on Android 4.4.4 thats good.

    I'm using Sony Xperia Z1 Compact with Android 5.0.2, Windows 8.1 with samba server. In username for connect to server also using russian charactes. Other file manager (Total Commander, File Commander show russian characters)

  3. Manual screen-rotate for SE image viewer

    It would be great if SE image viewer supported two-finger Manual rotating of wide images.

    This type of Rotating is only done for the screen viewing purpose only. The actual rotation is not saved to file.

  4. Extract contents of multiple zips together.

    When I select multiple zips and tap "extract", it extracts only one zip and not all. Ideally, it should extract the contents of all zips that are selected.

  5. Easier Read/Write Mount UI

    So in the previous SE app, you could easily mount a partition as R/W using the Quick Config option. In SE 2.0, you have to mess with permission attributes and know which ones you need to check/uncheck to mount as R/W. I'd like a suggest a UI similar to the one in the previous SE to make it easier.   6. Auto play next video when streaming

    A feature request: when streaming video files from a shared folder(via smb or ftp) on SE2.0, could the file explorer auto play the next video file in the shared folder after the current video finishes?

  8. Remember scroll position of Bookmarks view

    Add the ability for the last scroll position to be remembered and restored for when using the Bookmarks pane.

    Especially useful for users who have lots of Bookmarks and are multi-tasking with other productivity apps (it avoids scrolling a long list of Bookmarks each time)

  10. Multi-select wouldbe great for within the Bookmark manager

    The ability to Batch select multiple Bookmark entries for deletion and for batch rearranging would be an awesome treat :)

    This would require the addition of Three icons to the top toolbar of the Bookmarks manager. These three icons being:

    1. Delete icon (trash can)
    2. Select all
    3. Select inverse

  11. Exclusive permisions - protect a directory and it's files from being deleted

    As previously mentioned in another thread: http://support.solidexplorer.pl/responses/lock-deletion-for-wholle-folders-and-maybe-files-too

    It would be great if in the future users could collate a list of folders/files that have to require exclusive permission before being deleted...This would only be to prevent accidental deletion from within Solid Explorer.

    This feature would be for Solid Explorer internally only.

    I am not talking about Encryption I am talking about a padlock in the form of a long passcode or removing the lock from within the settings.

  12. New Tab and Split view

    Add a list view of opened tabs and a option to enable split view. Also an indicator of how many tabs are open without pulling the left drawer out would be important to have.

  13. Losing license every time I lose signal, or go in Airplane mode

    I already filed a bug report, sent an email, wrote on Facebook, left a negative review on Google Play but still it seems like the developer doesn't care for my problem, same as he doesn't for a multitude of people on Google Play leaving negative reviews after getting annoyed of being ignored for an app they paid for. So hopefully people here know a workaround.

    I'm a sailor so I often go out of antenna reach for extended periods of time. During that time, Solid Explorer switches back to expired trial mode so it immediately quits.

    Anybody knows how to…

  15. Daydream VR support

    Add the ability to use Solid Explorer as Daydream VR app, so showing the interface in a 3D environment, being able to navigate it with a Daydream controller and opening VR files (e.g. movies, photos) with associated VR apps.

    Would probably make for a great plugin.

  17. Dropbox folder stopped working

    Today the app doesn't allow me copying files from my phone to Dropbox folder. It worked perfectly ok until now. It may be related to some new conditions Dropbox started on 7th November, as reducing the file systems compatibility. Please, try to solve that issue.

  20. Ditch the left panel or provide alternative option.

    Can you please update the app to show storages and bookmarks in a sectioned way on a panel directly after the launch of app instead of left panel for a faster access of those destination. The left panel requires swiping left and right frequently. I have attached a screenshot of 'FX' file manager which does the same.
