  1. edit metadata

    When you go to the properties of a file and get the file information, you can see the metadata, but not edit it. It would be nice to be able to edit those fields to change, for instance, the album name of an m4a or mp3 file.

  6. compare

    Implement a comparison feature. This would simply scan both panes, and compare by existance, date and size or content/md5.
    After an item was found missing, a gost would appear in ITS place, when a conflict, the item would get some extra icons. Context menu on items would allow for actions. Additionally it would be great IF in Comparison mode, opening a subfolder would follow in both panes

  7. folder fusion

    When I copy a new folder (with new files 4, 5, 6) into other folder with the same name and diferent files (1, 2, 3), I can not choose fusion folder and have old and new files into the folder (1,2,3,4,5,6), I have to chosse between the new or the old folder

  8. Allow to insert files from cloud

    Please! I dont know why but I cannot insert files from cloud while attaching anything to gmail message. Why it does not work? This function works in ES explorer but I want to have it here in Solid!

  9. A color scheme that matches the grey and teal color scheme of Android, allowing for more consistency across usage!

    One of the ticks about the app is that there isn't a single color scheme that fits the rest of Android. I understand that it may be an attempt to differentiate itself from other apps, but an increased fluency between apps would overall be much nicer.

    I get that some people would rather have a bunch of colors for each app, but at some point it gets tiring. A consistent color scheme would make the app a little more "professional".

    The color scheme I'm talking about is the one in the settings app in Android 6.0—or the Google keyboard.

  10. I would really like an option to open images side by side when in horizontal view

    Solid Explorer lets you browse two separate hierarchies when in horizontal orientation, but when you pick an image it opens it to full screen. An option to open an image only in the split view would be great.

  13. More panel

    Please add the option to have more side by side panels rather than merely 2.
    It will be useful especially for large devices such as tablets in landscape.

  14. turn on the screen during copy/paste files

    When my phone turned off the screen during copy/paste files, stop paste or slow down paste speed. Phone that is used ram cleaner apps, turn off the screen stopping paste. I think this option is useful for lots of users.

  15. Root Add-on

    I would like to see a Root Add-on for Solid Explorer. Things like uninstalling system apps or changing app permissions aren't possible yet.

  16. Storage analyzer and hidden area

    Storage analyzer to view large files and provide easy option to move recycle bin or delete directly and hidden area to hide a folder, which should not be exposed in any other app/explorer even when we connected to our PC.

  18. Add a secure storage

    Similar to the built-in Cyanogenmod File Manager, adding a secure storage would allow users to completely prevent another person from accessing the files stored within such storage.
