  1. SMB name resolve via DNS(domain) is not supported

    Currently, Solid Explorer SMB name resolving system only use NETBIOS(nmbd).

    But some network situation (eg vpn roadwarriors) should use DNS system (or WINS) to resolve SMB server name.

    When i connect SMB server via VPN with DNS address, solid explorer says "No route to host" but use IP address It works.

    So it is nessasary to support resolve SMB server name via DNS.

  2. Synchronizing folders to the cloud, or an FTP/SMB share

    I'd like to have an option to allow Solid Explorer to automatically at a given time of day, sync a folder on my phone to a similar folder either on a cloud service, or a local/remote FTP/SMB share.

  4. Support for Solid Explorer nonexistent?

    I have browsed this area and see many questions or requests go unanswered. My searches for my own questions show people with the same question, but it is not answered. I don't usually give feedback on Google play, but this is not acceptable. I paid for this app. Very limited support.

  5. Confused as to how to move folder to external SD

    Why does access to the sidebar disappear whenever I copy or cut a file or folder to clipboard? This isn't a problem if I'm copying or moving said file or folder to a folder/directory below original location, but as there is no ".." folder option, then access to the sidebar is mandatory. However, once I have item on clipboard, in am unable to open sidebar.

    Pratt fix this or add a ".." folder option.

  6. Se text editor and disable animation to load

    Hello it cant edit file over 2 mb atleast limit shud be 10 mb

    Main feature i want is that the animations amke it look so slow
    There shud be iption to disable animation so that list loads fast n work can be done at fast speed

  8. Dropbox shared link creation

    Would be great to able get a link in context menu for a file or folder in cloud storage. For me is essential to create a link for files in Dropbox like dl.Dropboxusercontent.com/xxx...xxx?dl=1
    Also similar for gdrive. Could you please implement such function?

  10. inherit view settings

    The ability to store custom view settings for any folder is the primary reason i purchased SOLID. Thank you!

    Now: could we make those inheritable?

    e.g., if one set Pictures folder to gallery view, then any subfolders that didn't have a custom view set would be gallery view as well. Meanwhile, Documents tree might be "list, recent", while the global default remained "details, alpha".

    Can you add support for opening Google Doc/Sheets etc. files from Google Drive in the appropriate app?

  13. See permissions on files and folders

    I just jumped ship from the bloated beast that ES has become. One thing I'm missing though is the ability to see file/folder permissions. In ES you can pull up the Properties of a file/folder and see the permissions. The Properties of a file/folder in Solid doesn't show the permissions! Unless I'm missing something!

  14. turn on the screen during copy/paste files

    When my phone turned off the screen during copy/paste files, stop paste or slow down paste speed. Phone that is used ram cleaner apps, turn off the screen stopping paste. I think this option is useful for lots of users.

  16. Bookmarks of predefined pairs of left/right folder panels, flick vertically between pairs to emulate mutiple Solid Explorer sessions

    I do REALLY appreciate the addition of background session, so that I can use either the left or right panel for a different folder and then pop back to what I was doing before. Of course then, people are going to always want more, right?

    On one of your competitors, one can flick horizontally between perhaps seven or more folder panels, but this honestly gets confusing, and can gobble up a lot of RAM as well.

    What I would suggest is that you allow us to define bookmarks to pairs of left/right folders -- since I, at least, find that…

  18. Ceased to add cloud storage, it falls!

    With the latest version, no longer add clouds, falls out with an error. Logs are sent to a zero response. So far only 2. Fix!
