  1. Onedrive does not stream to vlc

    Streaming videos (tested with mp4 and mkv, may also include others) from onedrive to vlc causes the app to open and just have the loading pylon cycle indefinitely.

    Streaming mp4 from onedrive to the google photos app does work however mkv does not (probably due to google photos not supporting mkv?)

    Opening mp4 and mkv files stored locally with vlc from within solid explorer works fine.

  2. The amazon cloud plugin

    When trying to connect my amazon cloud account I get a login error. I believe this is caused by being directed to amazon.com whereas my account is held at amazon.co.uk. Is there any way I can connect my UK account to Solid Explorer? Other than this problem, solid works brilliantly for me and I'd love to be able to access ALL my storage from it.

  5. Fonts

    Is there any chance for you to use the system fonts? I mean when I change fonts it's not changing so I assume that the app is not dependent on the system fonts.

  6. Item Management

    The last File Explorer I used was great, but it missed great features like cloud connections or multiple tabs. It was called Cabinet, but was discontinued in later OS's and lead me to this application.

    • When adding an item to a clipboard to paste I always accidentally press the back button on my phone when I want to back out. I have confirm the check button twice when I want to cancel my action completely.

    • Now hard pressing on the item gives me a ton of options to either rename or more was truly a step up, but…

  7. Adding own cloud - Requested Resource not found

    Hi,

    I am trying to add my own cloud storage - "cloudname".mylenovoemc.com however, I got requested resource not found, and "there was problem with SSL.

    When I first tried to add it, it detects everything, but then showing error in certificates. I tap on proceed, but nothing happened. Adding it again now shows requested resource not found. With multiple tries, once i got an error saying something like "there was a problem with SSL communication".

    I've ensured that all details entered are correct.

  8. Is there a grep function in solid explorer?

    I would like to see a grep function in solid explorer that would be cloud aware, namely searching thru pdf files on google drive. Is there such a function currently?? If not, i think this function would be a worthwhile addition to the toolset of this app.

    Make archiving more easy to edit such as deleting file inside and automatically re archiving instead manually. Like X-plore did

  12. Connecting to samba server with custom port is sooooooo slow when trying outside of network.

    connecting to SMB server is too slow. My company only allow one tcp port for security, like 8022 port. My SMB server uses this custom port. When connect inside the network of company, it is really fast and comfortable. However when I try to connect at home, the connection successes but reallly slow.

  14. 'Test Unit Ready Fail' when attempting to plug in USB

    Tried to run a Sandisk 32g USB with a number of formats (FAT, NTFS, exFAT) . Just got a message of 'Test Unity Ready Fail.' Would appreciate steps to take, what the message means or more information on how to fix problem.

    It would be great to have fearure which shows records of recently created files

    This features is available in es file explorer as "new file" and shown in home page.

  16. DropBox - Network Connection Wizard - Encryption Password

    In trying to complete a DropBox connection, the last step shows a screen stating, <<"This connection needs to be encrypted now. Please enter you master password.">>
    Which "master password" is expected here? My DropBox master password isn't working.

  20. Problem playing local video files via VLC player

    Solid Explorer cannot play most video files via VLC player if they are stored locally on device storage. The same files play without error (through Solid Explorer, via VLC) when streamed over the network. They also play from local storage without issue directly from VLC player or through Solid Explorer using a selection of other player apps.
