Cache problem
Hello together,
sometimes, there is an error message occuring when I try to open a file, "same file already existing in temporary directory".
I can only solve this by cleaning the cache manually. Not a nice solution...
Is there a better way to solve this?

VPN upload
Good morning
We connect through money explorer to a corporate VPN. In download everything works, while in upload upload always stops at 1%. With previous versions, everything worked fine.
Can you clarify how to solve the problem?

Cannot copy files to external SD card (2.2.8 paid Build 170613.R.2, Android 7.1.2, Lineage OS 14.1 August 22 Build, Moto G4 Play)
The SD card is formatted as EXT4, but I believe I was having this issue when it was formatted as exFAT, and this and write performance were the reasons I reformatted as EXT4.

Can't launch VLC for MP4 files recently
When browsing video files on a network share, I used to be able to tap them and then choose VLC from the "open with" list and stream them over the network.
Recently, however, something has changed. When I try to view MP4 files I don't get the option to view them in VLC any more. When I tested with different video file types, I found that WMV files launch in VLC without the list being offered, AVI files show the list including VLC and a couple other options, but MP4 and MKV files only offer "Photos" and a streaming option…

Onedrive does not stream to vlc
Streaming videos (tested with mp4 and mkv, may also include others) from onedrive to vlc causes the app to open and just have the loading pylon cycle indefinitely.
Streaming mp4 from onedrive to the google photos app does work however mkv does not (probably due to google photos not supporting mkv?)
Opening mp4 and mkv files stored locally with vlc from within solid explorer works fine.

The amazon cloud plugin
When trying to connect my amazon cloud account I get a login error. I believe this is caused by being directed to amazon.com whereas my account is held at amazon.co.uk. Is there any way I can connect my UK account to Solid Explorer? Other than this problem, solid works brilliantly for me and I'd love to be able to access ALL my storage from it.

Connecting to samba server with custom port is sooooooo slow when trying outside of network.
connecting to SMB server is too slow. My company only allow one tcp port for security, like 8022 port. My SMB server uses this custom port. When connect inside the network of company, it is really fast and comfortable. However when I try to connect at home, the connection successes but reallly slow.

'Test Unit Ready Fail' when attempting to plug in USB
Tried to run a Sandisk 32g USB with a number of formats (FAT, NTFS, exFAT) . Just got a message of 'Test Unity Ready Fail.' Would appreciate steps to take, what the message means or more information on how to fix problem.

Problem playing local video files via VLC player
Solid Explorer cannot play most video files via VLC player if they are stored locally on device storage. The same files play without error (through Solid Explorer, via VLC) when streamed over the network. They also play from local storage without issue directly from VLC player or through Solid Explorer using a selection of other player apps.

Language
I use android 7. My system language is Turkish. When I try to login my nas device with admin account, it changes to capital letters and it becomes "ADMİN" and I can not login because it doesn't recognise the user name. Same thing happens also with public folder, it tries to see under "PUBLİC" folder. App says "Folder could not be found"
So as a coclussion app should be able to work in English independently from the system language.
You can try the scenario and you will see what I mean.

mkv corruption when moved (external OTG HD)
everythime I MOVE an mkv file it gets corrupted, scenario goes like this
plug OTG HD
open solid explorer
create Folder2 inside Folder1
move mkvfile1.mkv from Folder1 to Folder2
try to open mkvfile.mkv in BS player > get Error
try to open mkvfile.mkv in vlc > get Error
unplug OTG HD
plug HD to Sony TV
try to open mkvfile.mkv > get ErrorNOTE> I can rename the mkv files without corrupting the files

Does anyone know how to access dollar shares from solid explorer? I'm trying to access a hidden dollar share on a windows host from my android. I know the dollar share is accessible because I can access it from a different windows machine

Need to keep screen on to download big files
If I want a file to finish copying I need to disable screen turning off automatically, or else tap it to keep it awake. I don't know why transfers break if you let the screen turn off for more than a few minutes, but this is an annoying issue that I'd like to see resolved.
