  1. unable to find linux files on chromebook

    I'm using a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2, and just installed LibreOffice through Linux as my main productivity suite. I created a "Write" (like MS Word) document just to test out how/where files were saved locally, and (I planned) to encrypt with Solid Explorer and then store in cloud storage.

    Surprisingly, I cannot find the file through searching for the file name or extension, or navigating through any file path. However, the pre-loaded file manager has it neatly stored in the "Linux Files>Documents" folder, which I cannot find at all through Solid Explorer. Any suggestions?

  2. Backspace in text editor can not delete multiple characters and deletes all instead

    In build in text editor, when I hold backspace, it should slowly delete character before cursor (based on autorepeat speed). That is standard expected behavior.

    Instead it deletes everything from the beginning to cursor position. so there is no easy way to delete a line or world. Please fix this because it is useless as editor right now. In case some crazy person likes this behavior you can make it optional but don't break it for everyone.

  3. Magisk service.d

    Having problems accessing a certain folder required for magisk service.d functions. Not really sure what the issue is or really how to describe it correctly, but when navigating to /root/sbin/core/img/core/service.d to place my files the service.d folder doesn't show as a folder but instead shows kind of like a file and is not accessable. Would love some help or a fix with this issue as I am being forced to use ES File Manager and I hate that bloated crap manager.

  4. Root Permission Denied

    Phone is rooted. System folder can be accessed just fine, but when trying to copy file or open file in system folder, it just shows permission denied.

  5. apk

    Apk install doesnt work with Solid Explorer.
    Both on my LG V30 and Samsung S7.
    I paid for the app and yet after an update it doesnt work, it DOES work with every other app hovewer even from browser downloads. (And yes, I enabled and given permission to install apps). It say "Error".

  6. Fail to Copy some files (*.dwg, *.epub, *.fb2) from webdav

    Hello!

    when trying to copy some files (*.dwg, *.epub, *.fb2) from storage connected via webdav (https IIS windows server 2012), the process is interrupted with an error! If you copy this files through the computer from the folder connected via webdav, then everything is fine ...

    any other files (doc, xls, jpg etc.) are copied and opened without problems ...

  7. Crash opening Google Drive

    SE 2.5.4. Build 180707.F.1 running on Nexus 10, OS 5.1.1. Crashes trying to open Google Drive following update on 7th July 2018. Worked just fine prior to that.
    Tried uninstalling / reinstalling, clearing cache, recreating connection, but to no avail.

    yesterday I have installed the latest version of solidex but when I start my tablet mediapad m5 pro generates a grey icon of solidex. see screenshot attached

    Hi! I've been using the paid version of this app for some time now. I recently got a new Oneplus 6, but Solid Explorer doesn't let me delete files under system folder, even though root permission is granted.
    I can copy files inside system folders, but the changes don't get applied, so I have to access the files via TWRP.
    Any help regarding that would be very much appreciated

  13. API no longer supported error when connecting to OneDrive (Migrating from Live SDK to Microsoft Graph)

    Since January Solid Explorer (I bought pro) refuses to connect to One Drive. Error says "The API is no longer supported. Please see https://aka.ms//livesdkmigration for information about migrating your application to Microsoft Graph"

    I've gone to the link and I have no clue.
    Can someone please help? OneDrive is one of the my main cloud storage.

  14. Zip Encryption Information

    I am looking to use the 7zip archive encryption feature built into SE. I have a couple of questions and comments.
    First off I am using the 7zip archive encryption instead of the file encryption simply because it is more versatile. As in there are lots of apps across many OS that can encrypt and decrypt this file type.
    What I would like to know is what algorithm is used? The 7zip program offers both Zipcrypto and AES-256. Or do you use something else?
    Also the ability to encrypt the file names would be appreciated.

  15. SMB accessed files do not appear in recent files

    Hello,
    When I open files on a SMB/LAN they do not appear in the "recent files" collection, once closed. I categorized this post as a problem but I do not know if this is an intended behavior or not.
    Beside this very minor issue, I think this is a great app and I love it. Congratulations!

  16. Unable to pay for full version [Kindle Fire 5th gen Tablet]

    I am trying to install full version on my Father's tablet.

    While downloading the trial version of solidexplorer I had used a throwaway ID (bnjhgv2@gmail.com) in playstore. Now I changed all google logins in android to the real ID (k******gal@gmail.com).

    While trying to pay, the payment page is still displaying OLD THROAWAY google ID (bnjhgv2@gmail.com)

    I have completely uninstalled the app and installed again and yet payment page it is NOT showing real ID.
    Is there a way to change the id appearing on payment page to k******al@gmail from bnjhgv2@gmail?

  17. Modified date incorrect and files locked

    The simple task of renaming a file located on my Windows 10 pc using my Windows 10 pc changes the modified date to the time of the rename as it displayed in Solid Explorer. Other file explorers show the proper original date modified (not the date the file was renamed). The date remains if I rename using solid explorer itself to do the rename.
    I also noticed that around when this started happening, if I opened a video stored on my pc through solid exolorer (launching mx player or vlc) that even if I closed the video or played another…

    garmin S8+ / Solid Explorer File Manager version 181001.1.2
    I use it without problem for Intern memory / SD/ Google drive /dropbox
    Cannot access to one drive !!

  20. Master password?

    Today I tried to link Google Drive to my Solid Explorer. I tried to google account password and it said invalid. After wasting a lot of time, I found something about a SE master password. Is that the problem? If so, I have no recollection of ever choosing a SE password. How do I fix any of this mess so I can get what I paid for ? Thanks.
