1. Alternative licensing out of Google Play

   Hi,

   I've bought Solid Explorer Unlocker since a long time, around 2012 I think, but I did it from Play Store. Today I would like to reinstall my system without any Google app or account so I would like to know if you provide any alternative licensing method that doesn't require Google between you and me, even another "store" would be welcome. I usually prefer free and open-source softwares but your file manager is the very best, at least to my taste, so I just need it.

   I would have the same issue when I will buy my next phone as it will certainly be a SailfishOS (mobile-oriented linux distro compatible with android apps like yours but not with Google things).

2. Alternative payment options to Google Play

   I don't like to share my Account Details with Google. It would be nice if you could offer a direct payment (Threema also offers this) or payment with the Amazon Store.

   I know that there is also a "question" thread but I like to open it as Feature Request to see how many also need this feature. As far as Solid Explorer can only be bought on GP I will not be your paying customer ;)

   Reasons for an alternative payment option:

   Google haters will love it
   Kindle devices dont use Google Play
   Amazon gift cards can be used for it
   The dev gets independent from Google
   lower fees for direct payments
   More potential customers
   My personal reason is that I already have an Amazon Account and don't want to give my

3. Visual feedback for hidden files/folders. Show hidden files/folders more transparent or in a way to diferentiate visually from non hidden on

   It would be helpful if it would be possible to visually diferentiate hidden files from non hidden ones. For example having the hidden files/folders more transparent or with a marker or more darker color.

4. Make SMB/CIFS compatible with DDNS and encryption

   On recent Nas, the DDNS address is much used and useful, then the encryption too (provided with Samba 3), especially if LAN services are exposed to external access, like happens for my Synology DS116.

   Actually I'm forced to disable encryption for Solid Explorer and I'm using a numerical address that (obviously) would change after some hours.
   It's less secure and unconfortable.

6. Option to use Android share menu instead of inbuilt one

   Personally, I like the Android share menu better. However, I'm sure others prefer the inbuilt, so a toggle would be great!

7. automatically sync with cloud service

   I would like to see an option to sync local folders with the cloud on a periodic basis. kind of like foldersync.
   The user should have the option for two way sync or one way.

    Support more archive formats as (maybe as plugin):
    Extract and create Zip/Zip64 (splitted-encrypted), TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2 (very helpful for TitaniumBackup), GZIP, BZIP2 and extract RAR (splitted-encrypted, RAR5), XZ, APM, CAB, ISO, ARJ, AR, LZH, LHA, CHM, MSI, WIM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, NSIS, LZMA, NTFS, FAT, VHD, MBR, SWM, MSLZ, CramFS, Dmg, ELF, MachO, Mub, PE, Split, Xar, Z, Udf, HFS, SquashFS, PPMD.

    This can be the best file manager on Android! :)

16. Files beginning with numbers not sorted properly

    I have some files with random names but all beginning with a number. I noticed that these particular files would not be in the correct alphabetical order (1). If I go to the View mode, change the sorting order, go back, and change it back to alphabetical, it will be correctly sorted (pic 2). However if I then close Solid Explorer and restart it, the number files will go back to their improper order (pic 1). I do not know if it is related to the files having an image filetype extension, but I also uploaded some empty files with the names that were causing this issue. I hope this helps you reproduce the issue and fix it.

17. IPv6 Support

    Currently, Solid Explorer doesn’t support IPv6 at all. One cannot enter IPv6 addresses (they are deemed invalid) and connections to DNS names that resolve to IPv6 addresses fail (ACK replies from remote host are somehow ignored).

    Because the underlying Android architecture most likely supports IPv6, the required changes should be easy.

    On the other hand, if support for this isn’t coming, it should not try to connect to IPv6 addresses.

18. bring back drag and drop

    Will the options we have in Solid Explorer ever make their way over to Solid Explorer 2.0?
    Specifically the great option to make drag and drop easy again? In the old Solid Explorer you can just drag and drop items from panel to panel, but in Solid Explorer 2.0 you need to long press, then release, then long press the same item a second time, then drag to second panel, wait for a pop up each time asking you what you want to do, and then select "move" from the list, where all you needed to do in Solid Explorer was drag and drop. We also had great user presences like what you wanted the default actions of many gestures to do, none exist in 2.0.
    I assumed these main features of Solid Explorer hadn't come over yet because 2.0 was still being finished, but it's been out of beta a long time and these main features that drew me to Solid Explorer in the first place still haven't come over yet to 2.0. What's going on?

    Hi!

    I'm using this awesome app but I think that it can be improved.

    Tasker is an app to automate action based on context and it has a huge community. I think everybody know what Tasker is.

    My idea is to add Tasker Support, using Solid Explorer as Tasker plugin, to be able to move files, or upload it to cloud at specific time or context.

    If you can't make a plugin, you can do a system to program uploads.

    I'm using other app to do this, but I love Solid Explorer and I don't want to use other app.

    What do you think? Is this interesting?
