  1. Poor quality of image viewer

    The inbuilt image viewer is very poor quality, at least for JPEGs.
    See attached screenshots which shows the same file viewed in SE Image Viewer and Android's built in gallery (one's zoomed in slightly more than the other - but the same problem appears at all zoom levels, even 1:1).
    In SE Image Viewer the image looks like it has been saved with much higher compression than it has.

  2. WebP format support for Image Viewer

    SE can even give thumbnail to webp pictures but se image viewer can't open them.(not found in open with). Other apps can't access to remote devices so it's annoying when i'm watching many pictures.

  3. Backup service for storage

    Would be nice to incoporate scheduled backup service for storage manager.

    E.g. the ability to make a scheduled backup of data from say a LAN/SMB or cloud service location to your internal memory.

  5. APP BACKUP AND RESTORE WITH CACHED DATA WITH ROOT ACCESS

    I purchase solid explorer pro today. Before I was using ES file explorer. I like the material design of solid explorer. But one thing I missed in solid explorer is APP BACKUP AND RESTORE....ES file explorer is able to backup apps and data with root access which solid explorer lacks.... Please add this feature...

  6. I can't see folder COMPUTER on google drive

    I have connected my google drive account, but I do not see the COMPUTER folder. is there any way to see it?

  8. Support DocumentsProvider/Storage Access Framework

    It would be great if Solid Explorer can access a DocumentsProvider created by another app (eg. google drive), this way you don't have to implement every single cloud services, if there's other app that can create a DocumentsProvider for that service. The built in Download app support this in the hamburger menu.

  9. Force landscape orientation for no-GSensor device.

    Hi. Thank you for this very useful application. I'd like to ask for a very simple (I think) improvement - possibility to force FM to work in landscape mode. I use it with my Android eBook reader which has no G-Sensor, and I'd like to use it in 2-pane mode.

  13. Samsung S8+ with Android 8.0.0: 'Unknown Error' attempting to access Google Drive

    I have a Samsung S8+ and recently updated to Android 8.0.0. I don't know if it's related, but I now can't access the existing Google Drive storage I had set up previously through Solid Explorer. Solid Explorer still shows it under the Storages section, and shows me how much space I have and have used/free, but selecting it immediately gives me an 'Unknown error' prompt with cancel and retry options; retry just brings the unknown error prompt up again, and cancel is as helpful as you'd expect.

  14. Xiaomi MI A1 running Oreo displaying 0B file sizes

    Updated my Xiaomi MI A1 to the latest Oreo updates (January security updates) recently and I realized that all files copied over to the SD card are displaying 0 B file sizes.

    However, although the size is 0 B, the files are actually working fine because I can actually open the copied zip file as well as viewing the pictures from the gallery. Can NeatBtyes please look into it?

  15. Idea for file encryption

    Can you try to add possibility to decrypt files who been encrypted in the android app on PC ? Cause when you work on your phone and you encrypte files for send in your cloud and you want to modify it on your pc is not possible to open .sec files on PC

  16. Drag to select and batch rename with EXIF (numbers not letters)

    Currently if I want to select multiple files, have to click one by one or select all. Is it possible to drag down to select multiple files just like Quickpic?

    In addition, I read there were some people suggest the batch rename before and I did see such function; however, the date is listed like June 1 2018. Is it possible to let user define how to show the date format from EXIF?
    for example: #Y-#M-#D#H-#M-S = 2018-06-0412:44:00

    Since Quickpic now doesn't modify the software for Android 8.0, I would like to see if SE2.0 can replace Quickpic…

  17. Video transfer problem

    Whenever i try to move a video from one place to other , it just get deleted/the full video isn't send and the file gets corrupted. Please resolve the issue

  18. Encrypted folder always asks for passworld instead of fingerprint

    On my Samsung S7 the encrypted folder asks for passworld instead of fingerprint in a lot of cases. It works fine, but for some reason it happens to "forget" my fingerprint and asks for passworld instead in a lot of case.... I have to type in the pass and stick "use fingerprnt" again and again...
    Is there a solution?

  19. Is there any way for me to set up a static IP address using Solid Explorer's FTP server?

    I connect to my phone using Windows Explorer's "Add a network location" feature via Solid Explorer's FTP server, but it can be a hassle to keep on creating new connections as the IP address that it creates is dynamic. Is there any way to make this static?

  20. Image file icons stop displaying image thumbnail when modifying folder contents

    When opening Solid Explorer initially, image thumbnails display correctly for all images in whichever folder I happen to be viewing. When copying\deleting files within that folder, some, sometimes all, of the image file thumbnails will stop displaying and only show the generic thumbnail. I have to close the app and relaunch it to correct the issue.
