  1. Freezing on Nexus Player

    Latest update freezes after launch. I've tried erasing cache and data, and reinstalling, and rebooting device. After a new install, after agreeing with EULA, it freezes on the main screen (see attached pic)

  2. option to set default character encoding for archives

    Its really annoying to every time select "UTF-8" mannually when opening archive which has russian symbols. (if archive contains mostly english file names and only some russian, SE doesnt choses correct encoding automatically, and russian becomes like "?????" ). And those archives I used were created with SE.

  4. Power Amp doesn't show up as a music player

    Power Amp doesn't show up as a music player choice when selecting a music file. For me it's the only thing that plays music on my phone not on the list. Any chance for this to be fixed?

  5. SE crashes when selecting text using built in text editor

    Solid Explorer crashes when I select any text in a text file using the built in text editor.

    Also, I see that while editing text using the built in editor there is no swipe option enabled on my keyboard.

  6. Fingerprint for master password doesn't work after Android Update

    Have had Solid Explorer since the "Half Price" sale and used the free one before that. Worked great till the recent Android Version update to Oreo. I NEVER assigned a "Master Password. PERIOD. Only used the fingerprint. worked flawlessly. After the up date it started asking for my password on cloud storage. Fingerprint does not work, and just as you say, asking for a reset blocks all access ( that you did not have anyway) to the cloud. It also uses the incorrect username - my internet mail username and not my Google account username, ????
    Tried a complete uninstall…

  9. A problem occurred with Network communication

    I have a Librelec media player, set up with Samba. It does not require authentication. When I try to connect to it I keep getting a message 'Network communication error'.

    The bummer is that ES file explorer connects to it in seconds, no problem.

    I had installed ES file explorer in favour of Solid explorer, but had to download it again for this problem!

    Please fix this!

  10. Cannot delete music files directly

    Under \Music\, you can't delete any files from there directly: there is no trash bin icon.

    However, you can cut those files into a different folder (say, download) and then proceed to delete without problem.

  11. Webdav not working with Asustor NAS

    I cannot get webdav to work with my asustor NAS. It works with other file explorers but not solid explorer.

    It is enabled in my NAS so not sure why it keeps giving me the unknown error.

  13. SE Image Viewer poor quality

    The built in SE Image Viewer seems to compress images very highly probably to save RAM but the image quality is terrible compared to other viewers. I would use another app but it seems like I can only scroll between pictures in the same encrypted location when using the built in SE Image Viewer. Other apps won't let you scroll. If there is a way to use another app to scroll between images within an encrypted folder, please let me know! Either that or add an option to improve the image quality of the SE Image Viewer.

  14. Can't open html files with firefox

    When choosing to open an HTML file, I'm presented with a vast list of installed apps, including Chrome, HTML Viewer, various text editors and pdf viewers, but not Firefox which is set as my devices default browser.

  17. Solid Explorer not showing Documents file

    Solid Explorer is not able to find the Documents folder. I'm getting the message: Requested directory was not found. Path: /storage/emulated/0/Documents

    The Documents folder does exist and is accessible through My Files. It just doesn't show up in Solid Explorer.

  18. Open with does not list Pebble app

    I used to be able to choose Open with/Other apps/Pebble for PBW files. However, after installing LineageOS on my phone, Pebble is not listed in the "Other apps" list in SE.

  20. Cache folder taking excessive space

    The folder created by Solid Explorer on /Android/Data/pl.solidexplorer2 is taking excessive memory (about 700 MB) for cache purpose.
    Either the app should minimize this cache or delete it on exit, because 700 MB is useless for me now.
