Thumbnails for videos aren't generated for a secure folder
Images inside a secure folder could have their thumbnails generated. This is however not the case for video files.

Sending files whose names contain ":" or "?" to Windows could lead to corrupted file
What I did:
made file and named it something with ":" character, say, "foobar: coolvideo.mp4".
sent it to Windows machine (Samba) via wi-fi.
then the file name would become "foobar" and its size will be zero.You would better to throw exception on illegal file names.

Cant delete files from attached devices
Hi,
got this Problem over months:
When i attached a usb otg stick or any other device to my devices i can copy files, read files, create folder etc BUT i cant delete them. With other file Managers its no problem to delete.
Yes i gave permission to the attached device.
I bought the otg add on too but nothing helps.I tried to Format different Formats (exfat, nfs, fat32) still not working
I send a lot of error Reports to Solid but nothing changes. Ill try this way.

Purchase detection error loop
I've bought it on Google Play, but now I can't use it.
Every time I open the app, it says the trial is over, and I should buy the full version. But if I try to buy it again, Google Play will say that I've bought it so I can't buy it again.
So it kind of stuck on the strange loop: won't let me use because I'm detected not bought yet by the app, and won't let me buy because I've actually already bought it.6 votes -
Unable to copy from Downloads to root because view switches
I want to copy a file from my /storage/emulated/0/Download folder to /system/etc but can't because even when I go to my root folder and then go to the Download folder SE switches to the "Internal storage" view. I selected and copy my file to the clipboard but can't go back to the root folder. I can't use the hamburger menu und using the back button wants to quit the program.
I was told this would be a good replacement for ES but the design is clearly flawed.

Very slow SMB connection
Connection to Lan/SMB share are very slow, near 20 seconds. ES and TC do it much more quickly

SMB Name Resolution only appears to work on Initial creation of Storage Location.
SMB appears to cache the IP address for the host name and does not attempt to resolve (even via NETBIOS) when moving to a different network. I work from two separate locations, and have to delete/recreate my SMB storage location when I move from one to the other. Once created, it works fine, but the host name stays the same (my laptop, which travels with me) as I move from one location to the other.

Can't upload file to FTP server.
I can't upload any file to my FTP via solid explorer. But also I can do it via other Android FTP client app . It's my wrong operation or a bug?

Batch Renaming - Possible to start the digits (#) not at zero?
I often rename a group of pictures and I want to start the numbering at 1. Is there a way to do it without regex?

White error screen
Hello, sometimes happens that I want eg. check md5 checksum, I mark some file and click on properties, Solid explorer show me white screen with this message: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'java.lang.String. Android.Net.Uri.getScheme()" on a null object reference. Or something like this. Why? What's wrong?

Alternative licensing out of Google Play
Hi,
I've bought Solid Explorer Unlocker since a long time, around 2012 I think, but I did it from Play Store. Today I would like to reinstall my system without any Google app or account so I would like to know if you provide any alternative licensing method that doesn't require Google between you and me, even another "store" would be welcome. I usually prefer free and open-source softwares but your file manager is the very best, at least to my taste, so I just need it.
I would have the same issue when I will buy my next phone…

Make SMB/CIFS compatible with DDNS and encryption
On recent Nas, the DDNS address is much used and useful, then the encryption too (provided with Samba 3), especially if LAN services are exposed to external access, like happens for my Synology DS116.
Actually I'm forced to disable encryption for Solid Explorer and I'm using a numerical address that (obviously) would change after some hours.
It's less secure and unconfortable.15 votes -

Files beginning with numbers not sorted properly
I have some files with random names but all beginning with a number. I noticed that these particular files would not be in the correct alphabetical order (1). If I go to the View mode, change the sorting order, go back, and change it back to alphabetical, it will be correctly sorted (pic 2). However if I then close Solid Explorer and restart it, the number files will go back to their improper order (pic 1). I do not know if it is related to the files having an image filetype extension, but I also uploaded some empty files with…

mega cloud connection error
I bought mega plugin. I filled my credentials and it accepted. However, the next step on connection has a problem. Mega cloud wants to know master password. I pasted my master password on plugin, there is no progress.
Ps: I know differences my account pasword and master password.

I can't connect to my Synology NAS from outside my home network
What works: LAN/SMB connection to NAS from within home network
What doesn't work: LAN/SMB connection to NAS from outside home network via "myfritz" DDNS by the router and forwarding port 5001 to the NAS. The address that works (!) in a browser is something like this https://somecrypticcharacters.myfritz.net:5001 It also works in the NAS app "DS file" of Synology. But Solid Explorer can't find the host. I've tried different combinations of the ports 5001 & 445, both in the address line and in the extra port field. Nothing worked.
What am I doing wrong?

bug feedback
When I add the ten each bookmark in the bookmark manager, three bookmark in the left sidebar can only display unable to display ten, please correct the mistakes.
