  1. automatically sync with cloud service

    I would like to see an option to sync local folders with the cloud on a periodic basis. kind of like foldersync.
    The user should have the option for two way sync or one way.

  2. More archive formats support

    Support more archive formats as (maybe as plugin):
    Extract and create Zip/Zip64 (splitted-encrypted), TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2 (very helpful for TitaniumBackup), GZIP, BZIP2 and extract RAR (splitted-encrypted, RAR5), XZ, APM, CAB, ISO, ARJ, AR, LZH, LHA, CHM, MSI, WIM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, NSIS, LZMA, NTFS, FAT, VHD, MBR, SWM, MSLZ, CramFS, Dmg, ELF, MachO, Mub, PE, Split, Xar, Z, Udf, HFS, SquashFS, PPMD.

    This can be the best file manager on Android! :)

  4. Tasker Support

    Hi!

    I'm using this awesome app but I think that it can be improved.

    Tasker is an app to automate action based on context and it has a huge community. I think everybody know what Tasker is.

    My idea is to add Tasker Support, using Solid Explorer as Tasker plugin, to be able to move files, or upload it to cloud at specific time or context.

    If you can't make a plugin, you can do a system to program uploads.

    I'm using other app to do this, but I love Solid Explorer and I don't want to use other app.

  6. Full toolbar editor - customize toolbar icons

    Customize toolbar - A toolbar editor in Settings

    Hi all, I have taken the time (much time) to craft these mock-ups for what I think the Toolbar editor in Settings should look like. This would be for SE 2.0 beta for us to test if the developer kindly agrees. I think it looks cool! And it incorporates the users UI color scheme given to us in SE 2.0

    Because other users in separate posts have requested a means of adding or customizing the Toolbar actions shown. Some other users have requested that the FAB icon be expanded (bad idea)

  8. Enable save to dialog to edit name of new file

    The save to dialog now only uses the original name. From some apps this is just a random string. It would be nice if you could change the name in the dialog.

  9. Checksum for folder

    Previously I was on ES, they have a feature to see the checksum (md5 and sha1) for a whole folder. Checksum feature is present for individual files in Solid, but not for whole folder at once.

  10. Show file size in the "delete file" dialog

    Hey,

    I recently switched to Solid Explorer and like it quite much.

    But there is one thing I miss from the explorer app I used before.

    When I select a file or folder and press the delete button (trashcan symbol) it shows the dialog pop up where I can agree or decline to delete the file / folder.

    It would be awesome if that dialog pop up would also show the size of the selected object!
    When I want to clear up the internal SD on my Nexus 5 this would help with identifying larger, and maybe unwanted, files.

    Provide support for UPnP/DLNA Servers so that we can bride media files on these servers and play them on media players like mx player or power amp player.

    One feature I miss from ES is the ability to rotate(90 degree intervals) images accessed over LAN.

    The ability to see how the space is used on your device would be great. Think "Unclouded" or "Disk Usage" but built in would be fantastic

  14. Add Support For pCloud (as done with Dropbox & Mega)

    This has been done in Mixplorer (so it's certainly possible) pCloud is a quickly upcoming cloud service which is becoming more popular. I hope to see some integration - this can be found here:

  15. Raw images

    Please add support for raw files (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG, etc.). Most of them contain JPG thumbnails in the EXIF data, so you can use that.

  17. Implement recycle bin

    Implementing a recycle bin into Solid Explorers woulb be really great. Because then one could restore any deleted files/folders by accident.

  19. Ability to retry a failed operation

    When trying, for example, to delete an opened network files sometimes the operation fails and the FAB icon becomes red.

    It would be great to have the possibility to retry the operation by clicking on a button in the detail view of the operation (i.e. after clicking on the red FAB).
