Solid Explorer will create shortcuts for documents (Open Office -> Andropenoffice e.g. odt or ods files etc.). The shortcuts work for about a day, then they fail with error "no content provider." I think Android has a file scanner, and when it find a shortcut that does not point to a cloud URL, the file system corrects the shortcut somehow to remove the file pointer. Thanks a lot Google. The only reason the shortcuts work at first is because it takes so long for the Android file scanner to check everything. I would love to be wrong, but cannot come up with any way to fix it so that shortcuts work for more than a day or so. Have had the problem for months, if anyone has a solution please throw me a line!
