Steps to Use ExMerge.exe Application
Step 1: Download, install and configure ExMerge.exe application on your system. After this, start the software and log in to your Exchange Server account. With this, Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Merge Wizard will open wherein you need to click on the Next tab to proceed.
Step 2: Select the procedure you want to perform in MS Exchange mailbox. Select from the two options: Extract and Import (One-Step Procedure) or Extract and Import (Two-Step Procedure) and click on the Next tab.
Step 3: On selecting Two-Step Procedure, you can select Step 1 (Extract data from an Exchange Server mailbox) or Step 2 (Import data into an Exchange Server Mailbox). It is advised that you select Step 1 and click on the Next tab.
Step 4: Here, enter the Microsoft Exchange Server name from which data has to be extracted and converted. Further, fill all the information such as Domain Controller Name, Port Number, and then click on the Next tab.
Step 5: From the Database Selection dialog box, select the database from which you want to extract data. This is the requirement if multiple databases exist in the Exchange Server. Then, click on the Next tab.
Step 6: Select the mailbox or mailboxes available on the selected server from which you wish to operate the program against, and then click on the Next tab.
Step 7: Here, click on Change Folder tab to create a destination folder for saving the PST file in it. Further, click on the Next tab.
Step 8: The status of the process is shown, and in some time, the operation completes successfully. Finally, click on the Finish tab.
