Unable to extract 7zip files
The description in the Google Play Store clearly states "Ability to read and extract ZIP, 7ZIP, RAR and TAR archives, even encrypted"
I don't know if I'm missing something but I can't extract 7zip files, I've tried with a lot of files I already have and now I'm doing a test with 3 new files, it's just a txt file with the word "Test" stored in 3 compression levels. The only one I can extract is the level "Store" which doesn't compress at all. Both Normal and Ultra fail. Interestingly enough if the txt file is completely empty it doesn't matter which compression level I choose, all work.
I'm using a OnePlus 5T with Android 8.0

"PassFixer has launched a new software name 7z password recovery for 7z file users who want to save their huge files into a small space. The tool provides many features for all users for example - it protects all files from viruses, Live preview to recheck the recovery process, a free demo pack to see the first 3 letters of password-protected 7z file, and many more. It takes two easy steps to recover all type of password, firstly just download the software on your pc and choose one recovery methods from these options

Try the most common methods, such as File Explorer, Properties, which are simple and practical free methods. You don't have to use software to extract the zip.
After Google search, you will see a collection of articles like this:https://www.fonecope.com/unzip-files-windows-10.html
Can't open zip files in Windows 10? You can fix the problem quite easily by following this simple method by using 7zip guides...

I wandered over here because this issue if definitely not solved or clarified. Tried RAR (v5, best, WinRAR latest) and 7Z (ultra, 7Zip latest), nope. I'd just like to know from Neatbytes what compression is supported, so I can configure the software accordingly. I'm surprised it doesn't just support all, or at least most, configurations. Not sure what's going on here.
7zip files compressed with LZMA2 compression method does not extract in Solid but able to extract in other file explorers. Once I changed compression method to LZMA, it extracts fine in Solid. Please fix or include LZMA2 support.
I had this issue and confirmed that I couldn't copy files out of the 7z archive using normal compression. I tried a few things in combination (unfortunately) so I don't know which step solved it. First, I uninstalled my SE classic unlock license. Second, force-stopped the app then cleared cache. Afterwards I could extract the blank text file. I reinstalled the unlock and it still works. I'm using a Pixel 2 XL with Android 8.1

I'm not sure. All the attached test files open fine for me on 2.3.7
These text files are blank though, so maybe they worked for you too.
Perhaps, the issue is now solved?
