After checking the 'show root' option, you still need to tap "My Files" and select Root instead of Internal Memory.

In Solid Explorer settings, click "Show root storage" then you can see your SD card.

Se corrige con la versión nueva y con nuevos materiales de solid que con tu compra también se desbloquea, solo concede el uso de la memoria a la app. Visto en mi Huawei y9 2018 con android 8.0 usando memoria Adata de 128gb correctmente.

What the hell?? I paid for this app plus one of the extension apps and I can't see my full SD card and it never asks for permission. It shows the SD card as 2.43 GB free of 2.43GB it's a 64 GB card and almost 5 GB is used. I'm getting frustrated. then I come here and there's no solution. Fantastic!!

On PixelBook2, can access for reading but not writing. Have to go to the ChromeOS file explorer to write to the SD card.

Hello,
I bought Solid explorer, I use 1.7.3 as I don't like the new "sugar" skin
I cannot access to SD card easily for writing on it as the app "Gestionnaire de fichiers +" is able to do.
How can I do? -

I started using FX File Explorer. Works great on Oreo and it can see SD card. Maybe I'll come back to Solid Explorer someday.

I also have same problem with my Galaxy S8+ Oreo beta program once I installed this version to my phone. When I use Nougat, it's no problem with Solid explorer. Also, other File app or Explorer app can display its contents.
Please fix this for many users.. -

I can't seem to get this to work either. Definitely an Android 8.0 issue as it isn't a problem on 7.x ROMs on my device

This is happening to me as well. No SD card on the side bar.
The app does not even ask to grant access to the SD card. The SD card is accessible from the root but cannot write on it.
