/!\ /!\ NO NEED TO UNINSTALL (or clear cache data). that will erase your settings and servers presets. /!\ /!\
Dont forget to install Solid Explorer Classic Unlock too on your second device !!
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.solidexplorer.unlockerThis is that little thing that will let your SE app recognize your licence on the device. Just installed it on my second phone and after that, just launched the SE app and it displays that "congratulations for buying complete version" pop-in...

My old phone died and it is annoying that the only way I can seem to get it working on my new S10+ is to either re-buy or risk a virus getting a hacked version. Actually its such a great app, still being updated (noticed i no longer need win rar other than to create rar files; well, multipart rar files at any rate). Given other paid apps I use charge a subscription of many times this a year (Tenta browser for example, great app that allows me to spoof my location as UK even in Cambodia and for all apps so iplayer works properly, though is hit and miss with Netflix so can selectively removed it fromn vpn filtering) Solid is really really cheap. Let's be honest, for anyone in a G7 county (bar maybe rural Russia) we would think nothing of spending double this on a beer (4 times in London). So stop being tight if you have just spent £800-£1200 on a new Note 20 Ultra or (in my case) £500 on a 2nd ear S10+ & support this developer.
That said, if developer is reading this you should charge more like £8 for an unlimited multi device (with single email account) with perhaps a £2 fee to transfer that to a new email.

I've struggled with this issue before (as seen in is this thread) and now I'm there again. Suddenly the licence was lost and I couldn't get it back, in spite of doing the Clear-Data-&-Cache on both Solid Explorer and Play Store. It still won't detect my bought license. At first I'm welcomed by a "Full version activated"-message but after pretty much exactly 9 seconds it reverts to the "UNLOCK FULL VERSION"-screen (see attatched image). And, no, the buy button does _not_ identify my license; it just give me the option to buy a new license.
It's a mystery that such a good app has such a miserable license mechanism.
Krzysztof, I really do like your app but I suggest you either..
• Remove the multiple device feature all together as it is not working properly
• Keep the feature but change "One purchase, unlimited devices" to "If you're in luck it just might, possibly, work on several devices, but don't hold your breath; it probably won't."
• Fix the problemOtherwise we have to go looking for alternatives, which are actually quite good and plentiful nowadays, such as i.e. FX Explorer.

Hmmm..
On my case, on second device(which was not recognizing my purchase) I pressed 'buy in SE' and then it displayed 'thank you for purchasing... ' it recognized that 😉

2019, still unresolved. You need to remove any other Google Account but the one you've used to purchase the füll version in order to make it work - pretty lousy.

Problem still happening in 2019. I have one Google account. Deleting data on both play store and solid explorer, then opening play store, then solid explorer fixed it for me on all 3 of my devices.

I was having this same problem on my Mi Box ... but now I have paid version on my both android devices.
this is step by step guide.
NOTE: your 1st and 2nd device must have same google account.
(1) Uninstall solid from 2nd device but don't forget to do CLEAR DATA before uninstalling.
(2) open solid in your 1st device and go to ABOUT then hit RESTORE PURCHASES.
(3) log in to play store with same google account from computer browser and install the app to your 2nd device.
(4) now when you open the app on your 2nd device, you should get the message saying THANK YOU FOR PURCHASE.
this method works for me. I hope this will work for you too. this method should be fine if you have multiple devices with same google account.

Hi guyz,
I just bought the application on my 2nd device,
Went to my 1st device and unfortunately the purchase wasn't recognized.Anyway.. Here's how i fixed the problem.
Uninstall the app on ur device( the device that doesn't recognize the purchase)
Now install the app from playstore, open the app, you will get the same problem haha.. No problem.. Just stay with me..
Now go to your mobile settings.. User and accounts..click on the gmail account which you used for the purchase
After that click on account sync..
Try to find button called "SYNC NOW" and click on it..
Now just go close the explorer and open it again and it will recognize your purchase and work like a charm..
Hope it helps..
Best regards..

Hi, I have an Android TV device (Xiaomi MI Box 4K) and fortunatley there is a Android TV version of Solid Explorer! unfortunately I can't unlock it on this device although the same Google account is being used. The device is completely unaware of my licence. There is an option to copy the device ID, but I don't know what to do with it..

Really appreciate Ashok Poolla's feedback. I removed other Google account and now I can restore purchase. It's not a good solution but at least it works. Why the developer don't work on this bug?

Scenario: I have 3 Google Play accounts (say A, B, C) active on my primary and secondary devices. I purchased SE on my primary device using account B, then installed SE on my secondary device using the same account (set B as default Play account), then trying to get SE to recognise the purchase (sadly, it fails with the trial-expired error).
Solution 1: (WORKED for me)
This "Method" was very irritating and not feasible any how you look at it. Okay, so, just go to Settings > Accounts > Goolge > and remove all accounts from android except the account used for purchase (In my case, account B, see above). Thats it, then open SE, profit! Now add those previously removed accounts again.
Solution 2: (Didn't work for me)
1. Force stop Google Play Store and Clear it's App Data (this will also clear it's cache)
2. Force stop SE and clear it's App Data (this will clear it's cache too)Now try opening SE and see if it works (Sorry if it didn't ;)).

What an insane licensing experience!
Purchased and installed SE on my secondary device. Loved it and installed it on my primary device, but therein lies the rub, despite using the same account in both my devices (used for purchase and installs) it fails over my face telling me my trial period is expired instead of recognising the recent purchase.
Also, If I have more than 1 Google Play account, there is no check for a previous purchase, instead, somehow it directly takes me to the purchase dialog box using the OTHER account instead of the purchased account.
Seriously devs, there has to be a reliable way of checking and using the license, In-app-purchases are not a reliable way IMO, use a seperate app on Play Store to attach the Pro functionality just like many other apps do. Honestly, you guys should adapt the licensing mechanism used in apps like "SD Maid".
This has been a terrible experience, please fix it as soon as possible.
Anyways, thanks a lot for such a good file manager, lot appreciated.

Had to revert to my old phone for a while and can't unlock SE 2 on this (unrooted) device. I have tried the data/cache-clearing-routine (multiple times) but to no avail. I am still met by the message about the expired trial. Under Redeem Code it says something like "bonus objects will be assigned to your device only". So is SE2 device specific, regardless what others are saying here? And what should I do?

Just force stop both Play Store and Solid Explorer then clear both app data. After that relaunch Play Store, accept the agreement and relaunch Solid Explorer again, that worked for me.
